Gina Kirschenheiter Wiki: Age, Childhood, and Education

Gina Christine Archer was born on 11 May 1984, in Long Island, New York, USA, the daughter of Gene Archer and his wife, Susan; she has a brother named Chris.

She hasn’t talked much about her childhood; in regards to her educational background, after finishing high school, she enrolled at Hofstra University in Long Island, and obtained her bachelor of science degree with a major in Psychology in 2006.

Before becoming a reality TV star, Gina had a different role – once out of university, and wanting to travel the world, Gina joined North American Airlines as a flight attendant. After a couple of years, Gina relocated to the Upper East Side neighborhood in New York City, where she found a job as an executive assistant.

Becoming a Reality TV Star

She wanted to obtain a master’s degree in health administration from her alma mater, however, she became pregnant with her now ex-husband Matt; the two then moved to Orange County, California, due to Matt’s job in Los Angeles.

Gina became a stay-at-home mom raising their children, but felt that she needed a change in her life, so after a couple of years, she joined the reality TV show “The Real Housewives of Orange County” as an outsider, since she wasn’t famous before the show, and was credited as someone who would shake things up with her political correctness.

Before even joining the show, she’d filed for divorce, thus creating a buzz around her name and personality on the whole. This actually contributed to the show’s popularity, and she was soon deemed part of the main cast.

Gina’s popularity continued to increase as her involvement in the show progressed. The show chronicled her life as a single mother of three children, as she was now divorced. However, despite the divorce, Gina and Matt are on good terms, and he tries to spend time with their children as much as possible, since he’s working full-time in Los Angeles.

However, Matt never appeared in the show, as his employer didn’t allow him, which also created further speculation about their relationship, but Gina proved that they’re still spending time together raising their children.

Furthermore, Gina told Us Weekly that she and Matt will never stop being friends and that they will forever remain a family.

Despite divorcing Matt, she’s remained in the show, multi-tasking between her involvement in the show, being a mother of three, and being a businesswoman.

So far, she’s appeared in 79 episodes of the acclaimed show, turning her into a television star, and has made a few friends, including her best friend Emily Simpson, and has been on really good terms with Heather Dubrow, among other stars of the series.

In addition to her aforementioned appearance, Gina has featured in the talk show “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”. Moreover, she also appeared in the reality competition show “Project Runway”.

Personal Life, Marriage, Husband, Children, Divorce

Gina met her future husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter, while they were students at Hofstra University. At first there was nothing between them, but romance developed before they graduated, and in 2010, the couple took a step forward and married on 15 May. Two years later, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Nicholas, born on 23 June 2012, upon which Gina decided that her life would change, and that she needed to focus on raising her child rather than pursuing a career and further education. Two years later, Gina gave birth to their daughter named Sienna, and the family then moved to California before Sienna learned how to walk, due to Matt’s job as an Account executive at LendSure Mortgage Corp. Their marriage continued there, and in 2015, the couple welcomed their third child, a son named Luca.

However, as Matt was more and more absent from family life, focused on his job, problems started arising in their marriage. Gina never blamed him for his absence, but felt that she was left alone to deal with the children. As a result, she filed for divorce in mid- 2018, before the “Real Housewives of Orange County” began airing.

Despite the divorce, the two continued on good terms and finalized their split in November of the same year without any quarrel. The two reconciled briefly in June 2019, but all ended when an intense argument between them, and allegedly Matt physically assaulted Gina with their three children in the same room, after which she succeeded in getting a temporary restraining order. Since then, the couple has mended their problems and have decided it is best to be friends.

In mid- 2019, Gina started a romance with Travis Mullen, a mortgage broker.
