Eve Net Worth $15 Million

Eve attended Martin Luther King High School, during which Eve developed a passion for music, particularly singing, which lead her to participate in an all-female singing band called “Dope Girl Posse”, as well as in various choirs during her high school years. Around the same time, Eve created and took part in several rap groups, but then chose to pursue a solo career under the name of “Eve of Destruction” instead. Eve’s first major collaboration occurred in 1999 when she appeared on Prince’s album “Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic” and provided vocals for one of the songs by The Roots.

Eve’s real solo debut and first commercial success came in 1999, around the time when she joined the “Aftermath Entertainment” run by Dr. Dre. She then contributed to a number of collaborations with DMX, Dru Hill and presented herself as a member of Ruff Ryders. Later that year Eve released her debut album called “Let There Be Eve… Ruff Ryders’ First Lady”. The album proved to be a commercial success, selling 213,000 copies during its first week and peaking at #1 on the Billboard charts. The album eventually sold a total of two million copies and is certified Double Platinum. That same year Eve collaborated with Missy Elliott on her song “Hot Boyz (Remix)” which also featured Nas, Q-Tip and Lil’ Mo. “Hot Boyz” became an instant hit and spent an impressive 18 weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts. The revenue from Eve’s debut album, as well as her collaborations had a considerable impact on her steadily growing net worth.

In 2001, Eve came out with her second studio album entitled “Scorpion”, that also produced two singles, namely “Who’s That Girl” and “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani. The latter not only earned Eve international recognition but won her a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. Eve continued her successful rapping career with her third studio album “Eve-Olution” that peaked at #6 at the Billboard 200 chart, as well as making various appearances and collaborations with such artists as Gwen Stefani, Ludacris, Jill Scott, and Timati among many others. Eve’s latest solo venture is entitled “Lip Lock”, a fourth studio album that was released in 2013 which features Gabe Saporta, Missy Elliott, and Snoop Dogg.

In addition to her singing career, Eve has managed to increase her net worth by starring in films. Eve co-starred with Vin Diesel in “xXx”, appeared in “Barbershop” and “Barbershop 2: Back in Business” with a fellow rap artist Ice Cube, and starred alongside Queen Latifah and Meagan Good in “The Cookout”. Eve also provided a voice to several video game characters and in 2008 appeared in “Flashbacks of a Fool” with Daniel Craig.

In her personal life, Eve married Maximillion Cooper, a British entrepreneur in 2014, and currently divides her time between the UK, New York and Los Angeles.
