Eric grew up on the south side of Memphis. For his education, he went to Riverview Elementary and then attended Riverview Junior High. He matriculated from Carver High School and then enrolled at Memphis State University. He graduated with a degree in Computer Systems Technology, and soon after moved to Los Angeles in search of a job position as an engineer.

His first job was at Rockwell International, ASSD division, being hired as a software developer. However, he quit his day job and decided to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian and actor.

Some of the titles include “Black Silk” (2002), “Chasing Destiny” (2006), “Tempted by Trouble” (2010), and “The Blackbirds” (2016), the sales of which have increased his net worth to a large degree.

Furthermore, Eric has created the crime novel series which has five books so far, including “Sleeping With Strangers” (2007), “Dying for Revenge” (2008), and “Finding Gideon” (2017).
