Michael Dorman was born in Auckland, New Zealand, on 26 April 1981. His first lead role came in the 2010 movie “Needle”, which brought him the Melbourne Underground Film Festival Award for Best Actor-Feature Film. In the following year, Michael was seen as a Cook in Julia Leigh’s mystery drama “Sleeping Beauty”, which had 29 award nominations and won five.
Michael was next seen in several short movies, and then in 2014, he was cast to play Greeves in the war drama “The Water Diviner”, starring Russell Crowe, Olga Kurylenko and Jai Courtney.
