Who is Laura Haddock?
Laura Jane Haddock was born in Enfield, London, England, on 21 August 1985 – her zodiac sign’s Libra, and she holds British nationality. She’s an actress with more than 40 acting credits to her name, perhaps known best for her portrayal of Meredith Quill in the critically acclaimed 2014 action adventure comedy movie “Guardians of the Galaxy”, written and directed by James Gunn, and which starred Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel (voice) and Bradley Cooper (voice). Laura was raised in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England alongside her brother Jack who’s a soccer player, and her sister Beth Michaela Haddock who’s a photographer, by their father who was a financier, and their mother who was a reflexologist.
Laura grew up being interested in acting, was a member of St George’s School drama club, and appeared in various plays during her three years there; she could’ve been seen in theatre plays as well, and also practiced dancing and played soccer during her teenage years.

Between 2009 and 2011, she played Samantha in the comedy “How Not to Live Your Life”; it starred Dan Clark, David Armand and Leila Hoffman, and follows lazy Don Danbury who’s inherited his late grandmother’s house, but has to live in it to pay back his grandmother’s debt; the series was nominated for two awards.

Laura believes that she’s on the verge of being diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), as all the objects in her vicinity have to be at right angles when facing each other, including salt and pepper pots when she’s having launch, or a fork facing the knife.
