Who is David Faustino?

American actor and radio personality David Anthony Faustino was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 3 March 1974, meaning that his zodiac sign is Pisces. He’s had roles in over 100 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for his playing of the lead character Bud Bundy in the critically acclaimed comedy series “Married… with Children”, which Michael G. Moye and Ron Leavitt created, and which also starred Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate and Ed O’Neill. It follows the lives of low-earning shoes salesman Al Bundy, his wife and their two children, the series aired from 1987 to 1997, and won seven of its 43 award nominations.

Education and early life

David and his younger brother Michael, who’s also active in the film industry, were raised in Los Angeles by their father Roger Faustino who was a costume designer, and their mother Kay Faustino (nee Freeman) who was a housewife; Michael made several guest appearances in the series “Married… with Children”.

David was somewhat thrown into the film industry, as he was six when he made his debut film appearance, playing Joey in the 1980 drama “Act of Love”, and the same year saw him make his debut TV series appearance, playing Josh in the episode “The Silent Cry” in the hit romantic family drama “Little House on the Prairie”.

He acted throughout his entire education, and upon matriculating in 1992, David remained focused on acting, and so didn’t enroll at college.

In 1981, David portrayed Bobby Hofstedter in the family comedy “And They All Lived Happily After”, but he only gained recognition in 1983, when cast to play Tony Hardin in the mystery crime drama “The Star Chamber”, written and directed by Peter Hyams, and which starred Michael Douglas, Hal Holbrook and Yaphet Kotto. It follows a group of judges who hire hitmen to kill the criminals who’ve avoided court justice. Some of David’s notable performances in the ‘80s were in the 1984 action drama “Velvet”, the 1985 drama “Love, Mary”, and the 1986 short animated drama “How to Catch a Cold” (voice role).

What marked the ‘90s for him was perhaps his playing of Felix Navidad in the 1996 science fiction crime drama “Alien Nation: Millennium”, which Kenneth Johnson wrote and directed, and which starred Michele Scarabelli, Eric Pierpoint and Gary Graham. It follows a group of people who’ve found a holy Tenctonese relic, and the movie won an Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Award for Best Single Genre Television Presentation. In 2001, he portrayed Bobby in the action drama “MacArthur Park”, Buzz Frawley in the comedy “Killer Bud”, and Billy in the comedy drama “10 Attitudes”. The year 2006 saw him star as Carl in the popular sports comedy “Pucked”, which directed by Arthur Hiller, follows the life of an unsuccessful attorney, and also starred Jon Bon Jovi and Estella Warren. From 2012 to 2014, he voiced one of the main characters Mako in the hit animated action adventure “The Legend of Korra”, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, and which also starred Janet Varney and P. J. Byrne; it follows Avatar Korra as she’s fighting to protect her city from various enemies, and the series won 27 of its 68 award nominations.

David’s three most recent TV series roles have been in eight episodes of the 2017 romantic drama “The Young and the Restless”, 28 episodes of the animated action adventure “Dragons: Race to the Edge” from 2015 to 2018 (voice role), and also in 2018, the episode “Ignite Good to Help the Environment” of the animated drama “Cape Kids” (voice role); he’s currently shooting for the upcoming series “Hollywould”.

Sometime in the first half of the 2010s, David began dating American entrepreneur and social media star Lindsay Bronson; she’s followed by nearly 20,000 people on Instagram, and has posted close to 800 pictures and videos. Lindsay gave birth to their daughter Ava Marie Grace on 14 November 2015.
