David Franck Charvet was born on 15 May 1972, in Lyon, France, of Jewish and Tunisian descent. David is a singer, model, actor, and television personality, best known for being part of the television show “Baywatch” as Matt Brody. In 1999, he would leave acting to focus on a music career.

For his personal life, it is known that David’s father Paul Guez was the founder of the Sasson brand of jeans. Interestingly, he uses his mother’s maiden name for his stage name. In the early 1990s, he won a green card through the Morrison visa lottery. Charvet married actress Brooke Burke in 2011, with Brooke adopting Charvet’s last name; and they have two children. Burke also had two children in her first marriage.
