American social media star and YouTuber Miranda Derrick, was born Miranda Wilking in Michigan USA, on 24 February 1997, so Pisces is her zodiac sign. Education and early life
Miranda and her sister were raised in Michigan by their father Dean Wilking and mother Kelly, who are both successful entrepreneurs; Miranda hasn’t shared many other details about their parents, but it’s believed that their mother was once also an avid dancer.
She was only six when she began taking dance lessons, and went on to attend Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts, at which she honed her dancing, acting and singing skills. She’s a TikTok star, as there are today over a million people following her on the social media network, while she’s amassed close to 13 million likes of all her videos combined; most of these feature Miranda lip syncing, dancing and spending time with her husband.
She’s also active on Facebook, and is followed by over 1,400 people on the network today, while she tends to update her account at least once a week; Miranda posts similar pictures and videos onto Facebook as onto her Instagram account.
Love life, husband and controversy
Miranda’s today married to American professional dancer and social media star James Derrick, but there’s been a lot of controversy surrounding their relationship and marriage.
The two have been together for many years now, but Miranda’s family aren’t supportive of their relationship; this is why Miranda eventually chose to leave her home and elope with James, an action which has led her parents to upload many videos onto the internet, in which they’re stating that their daughter has joined a cult, and has thus left the family.

Miranda loves to go shopping for clothes, and often shows these off in her Instagram pictures.
She’s become passionate about travelling, and has been to various US states, mostly to perform together with her husband, and her favorite city is Miami, Florida; it’s believed that she’s yet to travel overseas, and that her dream travel destination is Paris, France.
Summer is Miranda’s favorite season, mostly because she enjoys spending time at the beach.
