Blythe Katherine Danner was born on 3rd February, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA of Irish and English descent. She is an actress, the winner of two Primetime Emmy Awards as well as two Tony Awards. The film director, Jake Paltrow and the actress, Gwyneth Paltrow are her children. Blythe Danner has been active in the industry since 1965.

The most successful role she created was starring in the thriller film “Futureworld” (1976) directed by Richard T. More, she received a nomination for the Blockbuster Entertainment Award as the Favourite Supporting Actress for her role in the comedy film “Meet the Parents” (2000) directed by Jay Roach. Another nomination for the Satellite Award as the Best Supporting Actress she got for her appearance in the film “The Last Kiss” (2006) directed by Gabriele Muccino. Currently, she is working on her role in the upcoming film “Tumbledown” directed by Sean Mewshaw.

Danner received a nomination for the Emmy as the lead actress in “Will & Grace” (2001 – 2006) and won the Emmy Award for her role in the series “Huff” (2004 – 2006).
