Foster previously spent six years with Houston Texans where he set records for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. His career has been active since 2009.

Have you ever wondered how rich Arian Foster is as of mid-2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Arian’s net worth is as high as $20 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the NFL. In addition to being one of the best-running backs in the league, Foster has also appeared in a few movies and TV series which has improved his wealth.

Arian Foster Net Worth $20 Million

Arian Foster was born to Bernadette Sizemore, an administrative assistant for the University, and Carl Foster, a former American Football player for the University of New Mexico, who had a tryout with the Denver Broncos in 1982 but failed to get a contract, while Arian’s brother Abdul is currently at Florida A&M. Arian’s mother encouraged him to become a football player while the father was against the idea, but eventually, Arian started playing while in high school.

He went to Valley High School in Albuquerque but moved to San Diego in 2002 after his parents’ divorce and went to Mission Bay Senior High School, where he played as a linebacker before he became a running back during junior and senior years. Foster later studied at the University of Tennessee for four years, and in football totalled 3,464 rushing yards and scored 23 touchdowns in 48 games.

In 2009, the Houston Texans selected him as an undrafted player, released him, but only a few days later they signed him to the practice squad and to the active roster in November. Arian had his NFL debut against the Tennessee Titans on November 23 and scored his first touchdown against the Miami Dolphins the following month. He finished his rookie season with 257 yards, three touchdowns, recording 54 carries in six games.

In his sophomore year, Foster exploded and had the best season in his career with an impressive 1,616 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, both the league’s best that year; unsurprisingly he was selected to his first Pro Bowl. Arian had another great season in 2011, recording 1,224 yards with ten touchdowns in the 13 games he played, and secured participation at the Pro Bowl for the second straight year. In 2012, Foster signed a five-year $43.5 million contract and nearly repeated his 2010 season with 1,424 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He reached the No.9 on NFL Top 100 players and went to his third Pro Bowl, in a row.

However, his problems began in 2013 when he injured his back, and although he played in the first eight games of the season, Foster was unable to continue, and recorded only 542 yards and one touchdown. Since that point, he has often struggled with injuries, and the Texans’ offence suffered heavily. Still, he made his comeback in 2014 with 1,246 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, and also recorded a career-best five receiving touchdowns; he earned another trip to Honolulu and Pro Bowl, his latest to date.

His last season in Houston was his worst; Foster ruptured his Achilles tendon against the Dolphins in October and was forced to end his season with only four games played. In July 2016, Foster signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins worth of $3.5 million, so his net worth is still rising.

Aside from football, Foster has appeared in two episodes of “Mike & Mike” (2011-2015), “Hawaii Five-0” (2013), “Made in Hollywood” (2014), “Draft Day” (2014) starring Kevin Costner, Chadwick Boseman, and Jennifer Garner, and most recently in “Grandfathered” (2016). These appearances have improved his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Arian Foster was raised as a Muslim, but he is an Atheist, and also started practicing veganism in 2012. Arian has been married to Romina since 2011, however, in 2014, Foster was sued by 20-year-old Brittany Norwood who claimed that Foster made her pregnant and later demanded that she have an abortion.

He supports the Republican Party, and backed the Presidential candidate Ron Paul in 2012.
