Moreover, his aunt, Levi Heaton, is a guitarist, drummer, and actress known for 2011’s “Vera,” 2016’s “Limehouse Golem,” and 2018’s “McMafia.”

Charles Ross Heaton is a native of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, who was born under the Aquarius zodiac sign on 6 February 1994, making him 29 years old as of 2023. He was brought up by his mom on a Bridlington council estate. He is the younger sibling of Levi Heaton, who is a member of Rebecca Lucy Taylor’s (known by the stage name Self Esteem) live band.
Career
Charles relocated to London to begin his musical career when he was 16 years old. He became a member of various bands before joining the noise-rock band, Comanechi (currently comprised of Francesca Amati, Jenny Burnazzi, and Andrea Carella) as their drummer. During Charlie’s tenure, Comanechi released a studio album (2013), and toured for almost 18 months.

Heaton made his acting debut in 2014, in the short movie “Life Needs Courage”. The following year was very busy for him, as he was cast for roles in three films and TV series – he made two-episode appearances in the British TV crime-drama “DCI Banks” and the British medical drama “Casualty” in which he portrayed Gary McCready and Luke Dickinson respectively.
Heaton rose to stardom in 2016, when he was cast for the recurring role of Johnathan in the acclaimed Netflix sci-fi horror TV series “Stranger Things”. The series follows the residents of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, who uncover a mystery involving terrifying supernatural forces, secret experiments, and a strange little girl after a small boy vanishes. Heaton has appeared in around 34 episodes, and shares the screen with the likes of Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin.
