Anneliese Louise van der Pol was born on 23 September 1984, in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands, to Dyan Ross, an American, and Willem van der Pol, a Dutch director of the Physical Plant at the California State University. She is an actress, singer, model and dancer, perhaps best known for her role as Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel comedy series “That’s So Raven”.

She attended Bellflower Middle School and High School, eventually transferring to Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California, joining the school’s Musical Theatre Program, where she was cast as Sandy Dumbrowsky in a revival of “Grease” in 1999, earning a Bobbi Award for “Best Actress in a Musical”. The same year she played Eva Perón in the Buena Park Civic Theater production of “Evita”, gaining rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times and becoming the youngest actress, aged 15, to play the role in a professional production. Van der Pol’s involvement in both films and on stage greatly improved her status in the industry, considerably adding to her wealth.
