Who is Belmont Cameli?

American actor and social media star Belmont Cameli, was born in Naperville, Illinois USA on 1 March 1998, making Pisces his zodiac sign. He’s appeared in only three movies and two TV series, and is perhaps known best for playing the main character Eli in the romantic movie “Along for the Ride”, which Sofia Alvarez wrote and directed, and which was based on the eponymous novel by Sarah Dessen. The film also starred Laura Kariuki and Emma Passarow, and follows Auden who’s met fellow insomniac Eli, while Eli’s now helping Auden experience carefree teenage life which she hadn’t been exposed to before; the film won one of its two award nominations.

Education and early life

Belmont was raised in Naperville alongside his sister Julia and brother Patrick J, by their father Joseph Cameli who passed away sometime in the 2010s, and mother Leslie Cameli whose profession remains undisclosed; Belmont’s very close to his family, and often features them in his Instagram pictures and videos.

He fell in love with acting while attending a local elementary school, and was 12 when he appeared in his first school play. Belmont continued acting while attending a local high school, and became even more serious about it as he could’ve been seen appearing in several plays performed at a local theatre; he was into several other activities during those years, as he enjoyed playing soccer and volleyball with his peers, and ran track.

He matriculated in 2016 and then enrolled at DuPage Theatre School, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in acting in 2020; Belmont appeared in numerous plays performed at DuPage during his four years there.

Roles in TV series

Belmont’s debut TV series role was playing Cute Guy in the 2018 episode “Love All, Trust a Few” of the musical drama “Empire”, which Danny Strong and Lee Daniels created, and which starred Jussie Smollett, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. It follows three brothers who are fighting over control of their father’s multi-million dollar company, the series aired from 2015 through 2020, and won 30 of its 143 award nominations.

Belmont’s only other TV series role has been playing Jamie Spano in all 20 episodes of the comedy “Saved by the Bell”, which Tracey Wigfield and Sam Bobrick created, and which starred Josie Totah, Mitchell Hoog and Haskiri Velazquez. The series follows a couple of low-income teenagers who’ve been transferred to Bayside High, it aired in 2020 and 2021, and won two of its 10 award nominations.

Belmont’s currently shooting for the upcoming TV series “Based on a True Story”.

Roles in movies

In 2019, Belmont portrayed Marcus in the thriller “The Husband”, directed by Stacia Crawford, and which starred Chris Johnson, Jennifer Lafleur and Addy Stafford; it follows Ashley who’s happy that her widowed mother Tracy has married successful and charming businessman Jared, but now that she’s learned about Jared’s dark plan, Ashley has to save her mother from him.

Belmont’s only other film role has been playing Trevor in the 2020 comedy “Most Guys Are Losers”, written and directed by Eric Ustian, and which starred Andy Buckley, Mira Sorvino and Michael Provost; it follows a college student who’s asking his girlfriend’s father for approval, without knowing that he had authored the book “Most Guys are Losers”.

Belmont’s currently shooting for the upcoming movie “Wise Guys”, which will star Robert De Niro and Debra Messing, and follows the lives of mafia bosses Frank Costello and Vito Genovese.

Presence on social media networks

Belmont’s active on multiple social media networks, and is followed by over 70,000 people on Instagram; he’s uploaded more than 130 pictures and videos, with most of these showing him during his everyday life.

He’s tweeted 44 times since he launched his Twitter account in August 2020, and there are today close to 750 people following him; most of Belmont’s tweets are related to his career.

His Facebook page numbers only 76 followers, and his most recent update was on 7 February 2023.

Belmont’s only recently launched his TikTok account, which is why he’s followed by only 11 people, and why he’s amassed just 65 likes of all his videos combined.

Love life and relationships

Belmont’s quite open when it comes to sharing details of his love life with his fans, and has featured his girlfriend Fallon Smythe in many of his Instagram pictures.

Fallon’s an American actress and singer, probably known best for appearing in an episode or two of the comedy series “Grown-ish”, the family comedy series “I Didn’t Do It”, and the family series “Lost in the West”. Belmont and Fallon haven’t spoken about how they met, but it’s believed that it was at an audition in 2022, and that they’ve been dating since December.

Belmont hasn’t mentioned other girls whom he’s dated, he’s in a relationship with Fallon Smythe as of March 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Interesting facts and hobbies

Belmont’s physically highly active, as goes to the gym on a daily basis; he also follows a healthy diet, avoiding fast food and sweets.

He’s passionate about photography, and many of his Instagram pictures have been taken by him.

Belmont has bad eyesight, and wears glasses or contact lenses.
