Alexandra Swe Wagner was born on the 4th December 1977, in Washington, D.C., USA, and is a journalist and liberal political commentator, best known to audiences as a host of “Now with Alex Wagner” (2011-2014), and currently through CBS’ “This Morning Saturday” (2016- ). Wagner’s career started in 2000.

Wagner also worked as executive director of Not on Our Watch Project from 2007 to 2009, a non-profit organization founded by George Clooney, Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and Don Cheadle, and then became the White House correspondent for Politics Daily.

From 2011 to 2014, Alex hosted the talk-show called “Now with Alex Wagner”, while from 2011 to 2016, she also appeared in six episodes of a Primetime Emmy Award-nominated “Real Time with Bill Maher”. Between 2012 and 2013, Wagner appeared in 16 episodes of “Real Time with Bill Maher”, while since 2016, she has served as a co-hostess of “CBS This Morning: Saturday”. Also, since April 2016, Alex has been working as a senior editor at The Atlantic, the political magazine which has won more National Magazine Awards than any other monthly publication.
