Adam Charles Clayton was born on the 13th March 1960 in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England and is the musician well known as the bassist of the rock band U2. As a member of the band he has won more than 20 Grammy Awards, more than 10 Q Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, & BRIT Awards as well as a number of other prestigious awards.
