Who is Phoebe Fox?
Perhaps you recognize her as Marial from “The Great”, but Phoebe Fox has over 25 acting credits to her name, and her stage career is something she can be proud of. In 2011, Phoebe was nominated for the Milton Shulman Award for Outstanding Newcomer, and three years later, she was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, which is presented annually by the Society of London Theater.

Early life, family, and education
Born under the zodiac sign of Aries on 16 April 1987, Phoebe Mercedes Fox was raised in her birth town Hammersmith, London England, by her parents Prue Clark and Stuart Fox, both actors, thus it isn’t surprising that she followed in her parents’ footsteps.
Speaking of her educational background, she attended Chiswick School in West London, and upon matriculating in 2005, enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where she trained in acting.
Phoebe made her stage debut in the play “A Month in the Country” by Ivan Turgenev, at the Chichester Festival Theatre, in West Sussex, England in 2010.
Roles in movies
Her first movie role was her portrayal of a Nightclub Girl in the 2011 movie “One Day”, starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, then Phoebe followed with her role as Grace Watkins in the short movie “Switch: The Witches” in 2012.
Two years later, she was seen as Liz Reitell in the TV movie “A Poet in New York”, starring opposite Tom Hollander in this biographical drama about Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and his tour of poetry readings – during his time in New York City, he wrote two of his most beautiful poems, “’Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” and “Under Milk Wood”. The movie was nominated for the British Academy of Television and Arts (BAFTA) Award for Best Single Drama.
Also in 2014, Phoebe starred as Kate in the drama “War Book”, followed by her lead role in the horror “The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death”, which won the Golden Trailer Award for Best Horror in 2015.
Phoebe’s next role came in the 2015 action drama “Eye in the Sky”, starring Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul and Alan Rickman, then in the following year, she was seen in the horror “Dead Tongues”, opposite Justin Dresner – the movie won the H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival – Portland Award for Best Feature.
Phoebe next co-starred in the 2016 drama “NW”, based on the novel of the same title by Zadie Smith, which was nominated for three BAFTA awards.
Two years later, she starred opposite Sam Rockwell and Ben Schwartz in the action crime comedy “Blue Iguana”, which followed the story of two ex-convicts on parole, who work in a New York diner. Their lives seem to have come to an end, but when lawyer Katherine walks into the diner, she gives them an offer they can’t refuse.
In 2019, Phoebe was seen in “Intrigo: Samaria” and “The Aeronauts”, which were her most recent movie roles.
Her fans will be pleasantly surprised watching Phoebe in her new project, entitled “Nobody Listens Anymore”, a short drama written and directed by Leo Bill, which is currently in post-production and is set to be released in late 2022.

Phoebe made her television debut portraying Hallam in an episode of the series “Black Mirror” in 2011. She followed with her guest role in “Coming Up” in 2012, and next appeared in six episodes of the series “Switch”, in the same year.
In the 2015 TV mini-series “Life in Square”, an emotional drama about the revolutionary Bloomsbury group, Phoebe portrayed Young Vanessa Bell. The following year saw her as Kathy Griffiths in another TV mini-series, entitled “Close to the Enemy”, also starring Lucy Ward, Jim Sturgess and August Diehl.

One of her notable television roles has been her portrayal of Kaye Newman in the 2019 action drama “Curfew”, about a group of amateur drivers who competed in illegal night street races all over the world.
In 2020, Phoebe was cast to play Marial in “The Great”, a biographical comedy-drama about a royal woman who marries an Emperor, and now she is forced to choose between her happiness and the future of Russia. The series had 55 award nominations and won 13, including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Period Costumes.

Kyle was born on 1 July 1983, which makes him aged 39, and he comes from Bridgeport, Connecticut USA. He made his acting debut in the 2012 movie “Anna Karenina”, and is perhaps known best for his role as Doctor Elliot Blake in the 2018 mystery drama “The Titan”.

After a few years of dating, Kyle proposed to Phoebe, and they exchanged their wedding vows in 2010. Since they are both quite secretive when it comes to their private life, the exact date and wedding location hasn’t been revealed.
As of October 2022, they are living together in London; they don’t have children.
