Who is Asian Doll?

Misharron Jermeisha Allen, known better by her professional names Asian Doll and Asian Da Brat, was born in Dallas, Texas USA, on 7 December 1996 – her zodiac sign is Sagittarius, and she holds American nationality. She’s a rapper, YouTuber and social media personality, but she’s perhaps known best for having been the girlfriend of the late American rapper Dayvon Daquan Bennett, known better as King Von.

Early life and education

Asian Doll was raised in Dallas alongside her three siblings, by their father Michael Allen and mother LaKeithia Lewis; not a lot is known about Asian Doll’s family as she respects their privacy, except that that her father was in and out of jail while she was growing up, and that they were rather poor.

She was a problematic teenager, just 12 years old when she had her first run-in with the law. Asian Doll became interested in rapping while attending Skyline High School, and as she had little to no interest in education, she dropped out aged 17.

Career as a rapper

Asian Doll launched her career on 16 December 2015, with the release of her debut extended play (EP) “Da Rise of Barbie Doll Gang Empire”, then went on to release “Dripping in Glo” and “Project Princess Vol. 1” in 2016, as well as “Outta Space” and “Kill Bill, Vol. 1” in the following year.

Asian Doll attracted a lot of attention with her 2018 EP “So Icy Princess”, as well as with her EP “UNFUCCWITABLE”, which came out on 3 May 2019.

Most recently, on 8 April 2020, she released her mixtape “Doll SZN Reloaded”.

Asian Doll’s today apparently running her own company, but no details about it are known.

Asian Doll prefers to keep the details of her love life to herself, and there are only two men whom she’s been with, that the public knows about.

In 2017, she dated Bandhunta Izzy, a popular American rapper from Baltimore, Maryland, whose YouTube channel’s today subscribed to by close to 150,000 people; Bandhunta and Asian Doll were together for only a couple of months.

In 2018, she began an on-and-off relationship with King Von, lasting until his death on 6 November 2020, although it’s also said that they had previously broken up; King Von was shot several times during an altercation between his crew and the Quando Rondo’s crew, and died in hospital.

Asian Doll hasn’t mentioned any other men whom she’s perhaps dated, so as of August 2022, she seems to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Dayvon Daquan Bennett – aka King Von – was born in Chicago, Illinois USA, on 9 August 1994 – his zodiac sign was Leo, and he held American nationality. He’s still remembered for the music which he released while signed to Empire Distribution and Only the Family.

King Von was raised mostly by his mother Taesha, as his father Walter E. Bennett was in and out of jail; he had six paternal and three maternal half-siblings. When King Von was 11 years old, his father was killed in a gunfight, and he then dedicated many songs to him, including “Exposing Me”.

He was 16 when he was arrested for the first time, charged with first degree murder and attempted murder after Malcolm Stuckey was killed, and two others were injured; King Von was found not guilty. He studied at South Suburban College, but took his GED tests after having dropped out; he was still a teenager when he became a member of the street gang Black Disciples.

King Von released his single “Crazy Story” on 6 December 2018, which then made him somewhat popular. He appeared in Asian Doll’s music video “Grandson” in 2019, and in May of the same year released his new single “Crazy Story 2.0”, which peaked at #4 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart. His next single “What It’s Like” came out on 2 September 2019, and was followed by “Crazy Story Pt. 3” on 13 September.

King Von’s mixtape “Grandson, Vol. 1” was released on 19 September 2019, and peaked at #75 on the Billboard 200 Chart, as well as at #27 on the Hip Hop/R&B Albums Chart. His following mixtape – “Levon James” – came out on 6 March 2020, and reached #63 on the Billboard 200 Chart; King Von’s debut studio album “Welcome to O’Block” was released on 30 October 2020.

Most recently, on 4 March 2022, his album “What It Means to Be King” was released posthumously.

King Von was arrested on several other occasions, including on 21 November 2012 for being in possession of a firearm, and in June 2019 in connection with a shooting. His death after involvement in a gunfight is perhaps unsurprising
