Who is FunnyMike?
American YouTuber, social media star and rapper FunnyMike, also known as 22 Savage, was born MacArthur Johnson in Baton Rouge, Louisiana USA, on 8 October 1996, making his zodiac sign Libra. He’s probably best known for having starred in the musical reality show “Wild ‘N Out” in 2018; Nick Cannon created the show in 2005, while he’s today also starring in it, alongside Chico Bean and DJ D-Wrek. It follows Nick and another celebrity as they’re leading two teams of improv comedians competing against each other; the show’s won one of its four award nominations.

FunnyMike was raised in Baton Rouge by his parents, however, he’s shared very little about them, as he respects their privacy; most of FunnyMike’s fans believe that he’s an only child, as he hasn’t spoken of having siblings.

Acting credits
FunnyMike has two acting credits. The year 2019 saw him play T. J. in the comedy movie “I Got the Hook Up 2”, which Corey Grant wrote and directed, and which starred Alexandru Achindinov, Farrah Laurel Abraham and Johnny ‘Koolout’ Starks. It follows best friends Black and Blue who opened a restaurant 20 years ago, while a health inspector is now trying to shut them down; the movie won an Urban Film Festival Jury Award for Best Feature Film.
Also in 2019, FunnyMike played Tow Truck in the drama movie “Twisted Ambitions”, written and directed by Raheem Allen, who also starred in it alongside Ethan Airhart and Mando Allen; it follows Lip who’s teamed up with Beth in an attempt to win back his former girlfriend.
Love life and girlfriend
FunnyMike’s today in a long-term relationship with American YouTuber and social media star Jaliyah Preggo – they launched their collaborative channel “FunnyMike Jaliyah”, but stopped using it after having uploaded only two videos.
Jaliyah’s today running her own YouTube channel – “Life of Jaliyah” – which she launched on 29 August 2020; there are close to 150,000 people subscribed to the channel today, and it numbers nearly 30 million views of all its videos combined.
They have two children together, daughter Londyn who was born in February 2019, and son MacAuthor Johnson Jr. who was born in July 2020. Jaliyah’s accused FunnyMike of cheating on multiple occasions, but seemingly without evidence, and he’s denied this.

Arrest
In 2016, FunnyMike was standing outside a supermarket with two friends, and got into a fight with a man known only as Richard Phillips in the supermarket’s parking lot; the argument escalated quickly, as FunnyMike pulled out his gun and shot Richard in the chest. In May 2016 he was charged with a second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon; FunnyMike was ordered to pay a fine of $370,000, but it’s unknown whether or not he spent any time in jail.
