When the science-fiction action adventure “Mad Max: Fury Road” was released in 2015, besides the main characters portrayed by Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, and Nicholas Hoult, the character that also caught the eye of the audience was Cheedo the Fragile, one of the five wives of Immortan Joe, and portrayed by Courtney Eaton.

Early life and education
Courtney Eaton was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn on 6 January 1996, in Bunbury, Western Australia, thus she holds Australian nationality, although she comes from a family of English, Maori and Chinese descent.
She was raised by her father, Stephen Eaton, an Information Technology (IT) manager, while about her mother little is known except that she’s from New Zealand, and Courtney’s Chinese and Maori heritage is through her.
Courtney had an interest in modeling from an early age, and when 11-years-old she was scouted by Christine Fox, head of the famous modeling agency Vivien’s Models; however, Courtney’s dream was to become an actress, so after launching her career as a model, she knew that this would help her to fulfil her dream.
Speaking of Courtney’s educational background, she attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2014, she didn’t enroll in college, but pursued her modeling and acting career.

Courtney made her acting debut in the aforementioned “Mad Max: Fury Road”; the movie had 480 award nominations and won 247, including six Oscars for Best Achievements in Film Editing; in Costume Design; in Make-up and Hairstyling; in Sound Mixing; in Sound Editing, and in Production Design. Courtney shares the nomination for Gold Derby Film Award for Ensemble Cast with the rest of the crew.
In the following year, Courtney was cast to play Zaya in the “Gods of Egypt”, also starring Gerard Butler, Brenton Thwaites and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, while her next role came in the 2017 movie “Newness”.
Courtney portrayed Charlotte Alden in the romantic comedy drama “Status Update” in 2018, and in the same year she was seen as Sarah in “Perfect”. In 2019 she was cast to play Ava Brooks in the action thriller “Line of Duty” also starring Aaron Eckhart and Ben McKenzie – the movie follows the story of a policeman who finds himself in a race against time to find a victim of a kidnapping, the perpetrator of which he accidentally killed.
In 2021, Courtney made her first television appearance portraying Teen Lottie in the series “Yellowjackets”, a horror mystery drama also starring Ella Purnell, Melanie Lynskey and Tawny Cypress, which had 11 award nominations and won four. The series was broadcast until 2022, and is Courtney’s most recent role.

As mentioned, Courtney launched her modeling career as a young girl, and over the years worked for various popular brands such as Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Cartier, and Bellazon, and for modeling agencies Vivians Models in Australia and Nova Models in New Zealand. Courtney was featured on various magazine covers too; most recently, she was on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine (Australia).
Courtney currently works for the Rodarte fashion brand, and was featured in its new Ready-to-Wear Collection, Fall 2022 which was presented in Vogue Magazine.

There have been various rumors both concerning Courtney’s love life and her sexual orientation, however, she hasn’t spoken about her previous relationships before it was revealed that she was dating singer, Ross Lynch, a relationship which lasted from 2015 until 2017.
In Jun 2018, Courtney started dating Spencer Goodall, a cinematographer with whom she also collaborated on the movie “Line of Duty” in 2019.
