She’s probably known best as the daughter of a former basketball player, Charles Barkley, however, Christiana has managed to build a name for herself in the journalism field. She’s a successful career woman, who’s also started her own family.

Early life, family, and education
Christiana is the only child of the basketball legend, Charles Barkley, and his long-time wife Maureen Blumhardt, a former fashion model. Christiana was born under the zodiac sign of Taurus on 13 May 1989. Her birth town is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, thus she holds American nationality; her ethnicity is of mixed African-American and White descent.
Speaking of her educational background, she attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2007, Christiana enrolled at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 2011. She continued her education, and she holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia University, in New York City.
Career
According to her LinkedIn account, Christiana worked as a sales assistant at Turner Sports, from 2011 to 2014,. Subsequently, she began serving as the director of writing and senior account manager at a college consulting company, called Koppelman Group, and is currently serving in this position. Christiana is a very secretive person when it comes to her personal matters, (even her Instagram profile is set to private), and thus it’s hard to find more facts about her life.
Love life and husband
Christiana hasn’t spoken about her previous relationships before she met her future husband, Illya Hoffman. He is the founder of a marketing technology company called DemandByte, and he also likes to keep his private life away from the media’s attention.

However, what we do know is that he was born in 1987, in Moscow, Russia, and that he immigrated with his family to the US in the late ’80s. He grew up in Queens, New York City, and later the family moved to Long Island. He attended the University at Albany- State University of New York, and then after two years transferred to Baruch College, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics in 2009.
Christiana and Illya met back in 2016. Illya is not a fan of sports and he was not knocked sideways when he found out whose daughter Christiana is, since, as he said, he doesn’t watch sports. However, they met in a sports bar, since Illya’s friend invited him to watch the basketball game, and there was Christiana, who came to support her college team.
Later that night, Illya invited the crew to come to his apartment for an after-party, and Christiana also was among them. The two began dating in the spring of 2016, and on Christmas day in 2019, he asked Christiana’s parents for permission to marry their daughter.
On 15 May 2020, Illya asked her the famous question, and Christiana said ‘yes’. The wedding ceremony was held on 6 March 2021, at the Andaz Scottsdale Resort and Bungalows, in Arizona, in the presence of 120 of their closest family members and friends.
In 2022, Christiana and Illya welcomed their first child, a boy named Henry.

Christiana is 33 years old. She has long dark-brown, curly hair and the color of her eyes is brown. When it comes to her height, she is 5ft 9ins (1.75m) tall and weighs around 130lbs (60kgs).

Born under the zodiac sign of Pisces on 20 February 1963, Charles Wade Barkley recently celebrated his 60th birthday. He is a native of Leeds, Alabama, and is the first African-American baby born in an all-white, segregated town. Charles’ father left him, his younger brother Darryl and their mother when Charles was young. Their mother remarried and gave birth to another son, named John. Sadly, her second husband died in an accident when Charles was 11 years old.

Charles played for the 76ers until 1992, when he was traded to Phoenix Suns, where he stayed for four seasons. From 1996 to 2000, Charles played for Houston Rockets, and then retired.
Charles was an 11-time NBA All-Star, he competed in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games as a member of the US National team, winning two gold medals. He is twice inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame – in 2006 for his individual career, and four years later as a member of the US ‘Dream Team’.
Since he retired, Charles has been working as an NBA analyst for Turner Network Television (TNT), and has won four Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Studio Analyst.
