Fernanda Gómez was born on 22 June 1996, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; she’s a model, social media star, and businesswoman. Previously unknown to the wider public, Fernanda was thrust into the spotlight after she started dating the Mexican professional boxer Canelo Gómez in 2016. Early life and career beginnings

Relationship with Canelo Álvarez
Fernanda and Canelo first met at a charity gala event in October 2016. Fernanda gave birth to her and Canelo’s daughter, Maria Fernanda, in December 2017., but only nine months later, the boxer welcomed his son Saul Abdiel, with his former business partner, Nelda Sepulveda. Canelo also has two more daughters, named Emily Cinnamon and Mia Ener, from his previous relationships with Karen Beltran and Valeria Quinoz, respectively.

He’s won multiple world championships in different weight classes, and is the only boxer in the history of the sport to become undisputed world champion at super middleweight.
Canelo was born the youngest of eight children to Santos Álvarez and Ana Maria Barragan. Growing up, Canelo and his family lived in a farmhouse on the outskirts of Guadalajara, and often struggled to make ends meet. At the age of 13, Canelo began boxing with his older brothers, who were already amateur boxers. He quickly showed a natural talent for the sport, and his brothers began training him more seriously.
Canelo turned professional at the age of 15, signing with promoter Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions. He made his professional debut on 29 October 2005, and won by knockout in the fourth round, going on to win his next 13 fights, all by knockout.

In 2011, Canelo won his first world title, the World Boxing Council (WBC) light-middleweight title, by defeating Matthew Hatton in a unanimous decision. He successfully defended the title five times before moving up to middleweight.
Canelo’s first major test at middleweight came in 2013, when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a highly anticipated fight, which Mayweather won by a majority decision. Despite the loss, Canelo gained a lot of respect for his performance against one of the best boxers of all time.
In 2015, Canelo won the WBC middleweight title by defeating Miguel Cotto in a unanimous decision. He successfully defended the title once, before vacating it in 2016 to fight at a catchweight of 164.5 pounds.
