Who is JDfromNY?

JDfromNY Biography: Real Name, Age, Childhood, and Education

JDfromNY was born Jerry D’Erasmo on 6 February 1981 under the Aquarius zodiac sign, in New York City, USA, which makes him 40 years old as of late 2021.

He hasn’t talked much about his parents, nor siblings, if he has any, but has said that his father is a businessman and his mother a housewife.

He matriculated from a local high school in New York City, after which he didn’t enroll in any college or university, feeling that it would be a waste of time for him, as he focused on his career on YouTube.

Career Beginnings

JD was interested in video games from an early age, and his interest only increased in high school, as he struggled to make friends and so fully turned to the gaming world.

He then uploaded his next video and the first about the popular video game “Call of Duty”, entitled “Black Ops 2 KILL CONFIRMED EXCLUSIVE INFO (Scoring System/Point System Revealed)”, and continued making similar videos and about “WWE”.

Controversy with WWE Star Alexa Bliss

During one of his OfftheScript episodes, JD talked about the WWE wrestler Alexa Bliss, saying that she is one of those women that just lays there and just takes it, adding that she does nothing in the ring, but also in the bed, with a statement “Can you imagine? Can you imagine being in bed with Alexa Bliss, man? And she performs the same way she does in the ring? Awful. All look and no substance whatsoever”.

However, Alexis called out JD for his sexist and derogatory statements, saying that she would normally ignore his comments, but this time he was over the line, and she blocked him on all of her social media outlets, and said that he is just one of those people who talk crap into a microphone while waiting in line for pics at Axxess. He later apologized for his comments, but it was a bit too late, as Alexa doesn’t want to hear from him anymore. Many of Alexa’s wrestling colleagues have stood behind her in support, saying that JD doesn’t have the right to speak such things about Alexa, or any other wrestler, and that she shouldn’t pay attention to his comments.
