Alexus Lapri ‘Alex’ Geier was born in Topeka, Kansas USA, on 6 November 1996 – her zodiac sign is Scorpio, and she holds American nationality. She’s a singer-songwriter and actress, with eight acting credits to her name, perhaps known best for her portrayal of Maloa in the critically acclaimed 2018 action crime movie “Den of Thieves”. It was written and directed by Christian Gudegast, starred Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber and O’Shea Jackson Jr., and follows the most successful bank robbing crew from California, as they’re planning to rob the Federal Reserve Bank; the movie was nominated for a National Film and Television Award for Best Actor (Gerard Butler).

Early life and education
Alix was raised in Topeka alongside her two younger siblings, by their mother Lynn Geier who worked various jobs to support the family, and her father about whom not a lot is known, because Alix avoids talking about him; it’s believed that he wasn’t around while Alix was growing up.
She became interested in various activities while attending a local elementary school. She was nine years old when she began taking singing lessons, then when 10 Alix joined the school’s drama club, appearing in a couple of plays performed there. She enrolled at a local high school in Los Angeles, California in 2010, and was physically highly active during her four years there, as she played both soccer and volleyball for the school teams.
Upon matriculating in 2014, Alix chose to pursue a career as a singer and actress, rather than seek a college degree.
Career as a singer-songwriter
Alix gained recognition in July 2011, when she covered the song “Forget Keisha” by Jawan Harris and Tyga, which became a hit on the internet, and a month later, Alix and Jacob Latimore released the cover of “My Boo” by Usher and Alicia Keys.
Her debut extended play (EP) came out in July 2012, entitled “I Am Alix Lapri”, and in November of the same year, Alix sang the national anthem at the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Atlanta Dream play-off game.
The year 2015 saw her release a cover of the song “Wish Your Love Away” by Brandy, and in 2016, Alix and Brandon Rossi released the song “5 Mo Minutes”. In December 2017, Jawan Harris featured Alix on his mixtape “It’s On!”
Alix launched her self-titled YouTube channel on 4 January 2007, and it’s today subscribed to by over 50,000 people, while it numbers over 300,000 views of both her videos combined – her “Alix Lapri – Forget Keisha (Ft. Tyga) + [Download]” has been watched over 200,000 times, and her second video “Alix Lapri and Jacob Latimore – My boo (Cover)” more than 130,000 times.
Career as an actress
Alix made her debut TV series appearance in the 2011 comedy “Reed Between the Lines”, created by Kellie R. Griffin, and which starred Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Nadji Jeter and Zoe Hendrix. It follows the lives of college professor Alex Reed, his psychologist wife Carla Reed and their three children; the series aired from 2011 to 2015, and won two of the seven awards for which it was nominated.
Her debut film role was her portrayal of Tiwana in the 2013 drama “Standing Up”, written and directed by D. J. Caruso, and which starred Chandler Canterbury, Annalise Basso and Radha Mitchell. It follows two kids who became friends after they were stripped naked in a lake as part of a bad prank; the movie was nominated for three awards.
A couple of Alix’s following roles were in 2014, in the short family movie “Core: A Short Film About Bullying” and the episode “There’s No Place Like Homecoming” of the comedy series “Red Band Society”, and then in the 2017 drama “Downsized”.
Alix has only two other acting credits – she appeared in five episodes of the crime series “Power” in 2019, and since 2020, she’s been playing Effie in the popular crime series “Power Book II: Ghost”.
It was created by Courtney A. Kamp, stars Michael Rainey Jr., Shane Johnson and Gianni Paolo, and follows the lives of several young adults; the series has won five of the 11 awards for which it’s been nominated.

Alix hasn’t spoken of any boys (or girls) whom she’s perhaps been with, but there are today various rumors circulating the internet concerning both her past and present relationships, and her sexual orientation.
Some of her fans believe that she’s today in a relationship with popular American actor Jacob Latimore, who’s appeared in close to 30 movies and TV series, and is probably still known best for his portrayal of James in the 2010 mystery horror thriller movie “Vanishing on 7th Street”. Jacob and Alix have been spotted spending time together on a number of occasions, but have both stated that they are only good friends.
There are also those who believe Alix to be a lesbian, claiming that this is why she avoids sharing details of her love life with her fans, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.
