FV FAMILY – also known as FUNnel Vision, The Family Gaming Team and FGTeeV – are a family of six members from Charlotte, North Carolina USA who are known best for their vlogging YouTube channel “FV FAMILY”, while the four children also have their own YouTube channel.
Members of the family
Samantha ‘Moomy’ Ryan was born on 14 June 1979, and her zodiac sign is thus Gemini; she’s also known as Skylander Mom, and is the matriarch of the family. Her husband Vincent Carter was born on 29 October 1974, his zodiac sign is Scorpio, and he has several nicknames, such as Skylander Dad, Duddz the Distracted Gamer, and Skylander Duddy.

Their #1 video “GRANNY’S HOUSE FGTeeV Official Music Video” has been watched close to 400 million times since 8 September 2018, and features the family playing the video game “Granny’s House”. (Pt 1) Bendy Ink Machine in Basement? + FGTEEV Elevator 2.0” has been viewed over 220 million times since 6 May 2017, showing them playing the popular video game “Hello Neighbor”. The family uses their second YouTube channel “FV FAMILY” to share their vlogging videos with their fans; they launched it on 20 July 2018, and it’s today subscribed to by close to 10 million people, while it numbers nearly 10 billion views of all their videos combined. Once again, we’re going to mention three of the channel’s most watched videos. Their #1 video “SHAWN GOES GROCERY SHOPPING! Healthy or Not Vision (FUNnel Fam Vlog)” has been viewed close to 120 million times since 8 November 2018, and features Shawn’s grocery shopping day. The channel’s second most popular video “DIY EDIBLE SCHOOL SUPPLIES! Teacher vs Supplies!
FUNnel Vision Back to School Skit” has been viewed over 100 million times since 30 September 2018, and is the family’s own short sketch comedy video. Their #3 video “PARTY IN THE ELEVATOR FUNnel Fam Official Music Video (DJ Vision)” has been viewed over 100 million times since 15 December 2018, and is the family’s original music video.
Children’s YouTube channel
Lexi, Mike, Chase, and Shawn have their own YouTube channel “TheSkylander Boy And Girl”, which they launched on 27 November 2012; it’s today subscribed to by close to three million people, and numbers over 2.3 billion views of all their videos combined, most of which feature the children playing various video games, and the three of their most popular are #1 “REAL LIFE SKYLANDERS BATTLECAST FIGHT w/ Magic Cards!!”, viewed close to 50 million times since 22 May 2016, featuring them playing ‘real-life battlecast’.
Their second most popular is “Skylanders Speed Drawing Challenge Part 1: TORTURED PARENTS draw ENIGMA, FLING KONG & FLIP WRECK !!”, watched more than 35 million times since 11 April 2015, showing them competing against each other in speed drawing. The children’s third most watched video “SHOCKING KIDS! McDonalds Happy Meal Toys Hunting, Skylanders Imaginators, Netflix & Chuck E. Cheese” has been viewed over 25 million times since 22 June 2016, and shows them hunting for toys in McDonalds Happy Meal.
FGTeeV Mom and Duddy’s marriage
Samantha and Vincent haven’t shared many details concerning the circumstances under which they met, nor the exact date of their wedding, however, it’s believed that they were introduced by a mutual friend at a house party sometime in the first half of the 2000s.
It’s also believed that Samantha and Vincent married in a small ceremony in March 2006, when she was pregnant with their first child, although this hasn’t been confirmed. Neither of the two has spoken of any other people whom they have perhaps been with, and as of June 2022, the family of six is living together in Charlotte.
Hobbies and other interests
The family is highly active on Instagram, and their shared account is today followed by close to 500,000 people, while there are today nearly 1,000 pictures uploaded onto it, each picture featuring at least one member of the family.
They are passionate about travelling, and often go on road trips together, all of which have been documented on their YouTube channels. All members of the popular gaming family are lovers of animals, and they’ve donated money to several animal shelters; they’re supporters of the organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). They enjoy watching movies together in the evening, and it seems that they are all fans of the American actor Johnny Depp, and the film franchise “Pirates of the Caribbean” in which he stars.
