Who is Lauryn McClain?
American actress and singer Lauryn Alisa McClain was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn on 9 January 1997, in Decatur, Georgia USA. She has 15 acting credits, and is perhaps known best for playing Bailey, one of the main characters in the 2019 horror thriller movie “Haunt”, which also starred Will Brittain and Katie Stevens, and was written and directed by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck. It follows a group of friends who’ve decided to enter a haunted house on Halloween; the film was nominated for two awards.
Education and early life
Lauryn was raised in Decatur alongside her younger sister China Anne and older sister Sierra, by their mother Shontell who’s a singer-songwriter and screenwriter, and father Michael McClain who’s a music producer; Lauryn’s sisters are also singers and actresses, and the girls are together members of the music group Thriii (pronounced ‘three’).

Lauryn’s following role came in 2012, when cast to appear in the episode “ChANTs of a Lifetime” of the family comedy “A. N. T. Farm”, which starred Jake Short, Sierra McCormick and China Anne McClain, and was created by Dan Signer. It follows the lives of a group of students and teachers from High Water Performing Arts School, the series aired from 2018 through 2022 and won three awards.
Lauryn’s only other TV series role has been playing Ashley in the 2023 episode “Open” of the action thriller “9-1-1: Lone Star”.
