Jane March Wiki: Age, Childhood, and Education
Born Jane March Horwood on 20 March 1973 under the Pisces zodiac sign, in Edgware, London, England, she’s the daughter of Bernard Horwood, a design and technology secondary school teacher, and his wife Jean, who was a newsagent. Of English and Spanish ancestry from her father’s side, and Vietnamese and Chinese through her mother, she has a brother, who now works as a landscape designer.
She attended Nower Hill High School in Pinner, north London and it was there that her career began.
Career Beginnings
While in high school Jane signed up for a local ‘Become a Model’ contest, and after she was named a winner, Jane signed with Storm Model Management, started using the stage name March, and appeared in several print commercials, slowly building a name for herself.
After finishing her GCSE exams, Jane moved out of her parents’ home and found an apartment in Wimbledon with her friends. She continued to appear in commercials, finding various modeling gigs, which included an appearance on the cover of Just Seventeen.
Rise to Prominence
Jean-Jacques Annaud’s wife saw the magazine and Jane on the cover, and was impressed at first sight. She told her husband about her and Jane received an audition offer and a ticket to Paris. She was subsequently chosen as the lead for the film “The Lover” (1992), based on the book written by Marguerite Duras.
Jane was 17 years old when she started shooting the film, and just 18 when the film was released. The public thought that the scenes were in fact real, but no one knew that they used five different doubles to shoot the sex scenes in the film. Jane earned the nickname the Sinner from Pinner, which caused a nervous breakdown, and she had to leave the public domain for some time to recover, and spent a full week in Seychelles.
As Annaud didn’t stand by her side and failed to make a statement about the controversial scenes, this caused a rupture in their relationship and for years, Jane was annoyed with Jean-Jacques.
Once she returned to the public life, Jane continued with her career, earning sex symbol status by starring in such erotic thrillers as “Color of Night” with Bruce Willis in 1994, while in 1996 she was cast in the lead role of Amanda in the film “Never Ever”, also known as “Circle of Passion”, written and directed by Charles Finch, who also starred in the film, next to Jane and Sandrine Bonnaire.
She then starred in the action thriller-drama film “Provocateur” in the double role of Sook-Hee / Miya in 1997, and in 1998 she joined Casper Van Dien to form the Tarzan/Jane duo in the action-adventure film “Tarzan and the Lost City”.

Jane remained active as an actress until 2014, making a few other rather popular appearances – she was Olive in the award-winning comedy film “My Last Five Girlfriends”, with Brendan Patricks, Naomie Harris and Kelly Adams in the lead roles, while in 2010 she appeared in the fantasy action-adventure film “The Clash of Titans”, starring Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.
She also starred in the 2012 fantasy adventure “Grimm’s Snow White”, alongside Eliza Bennett and Jamie Thomas King, and in 2013 she portrayed Lana in the television romantic comedy movie “The Sweeter Side of Life”. Her last appearance was in 2014, as herself in the comedy film “Film: The Movie”, about an Indian film director who tries to reach Hollywood.

Jane fell in love with Carmine Zozzora, one of the co-producers of the film “Color of Night”, and the two married after only a couple of months of dating, held at Lake Tahoe in the Dream-Maker wedding chapel on14 June 1993 – she was still just 20 years old at the time, while Zozzora was 35 years old.
During their marriage, Zozzora insisted that he served as co-producer of films in which Jane would appear, but him being only a B-production producer hindered Jane’s career, and she never lived up to her full potential.
The two often fought, and separated in 1999, while their marriage officially ended in 2001.
She then started a romantic relationship with actor Steven Waddington and the two married in the early 2000s. Since then she has given birth to a son, but they haven’t revealed his name.
