Who is Kerry Ingram?
British-Maltese actress, singer and social media personality Kerry Danielle Ingram was born under the zodiac sign Gemini on 26 May 1999 in Slough, Berkshire, England. She’s appeared in 10 movies and TV series, and is perhaps known best for playing Turning Woman 8 in the critically acclaimed 2012 romantic musical movie “Les Miserables”, directed by Tom Hooper, and which starred Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman. It follows Jean Valjean who’s been hunted by policeman Javert for decades in the 19th century France, while he’s now begun taking care of a dying factory worker’s daughter. Education and early life
Kerry was raised in Slough alongside her sister Rachel Ann Ingram, by their mother Sally and father Derek Ingram; Kerry rarely talks about her family because she respects their privacy, but it’s known that her grandfather’s originally from Mqabba, Malta which was how Kerry received her Maltese citizenship in 2020.
She became interested in acting at a very early age, and was 11 when she made her debut film appearance, portraying Village Child in the hit 2010 action adventure “Robin Hood”, directed by Ridley Scott, and which starred Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett. It follows Robin Longstride as he’s leading an uprising against the crown in 12th century England, and the movie won one of its 15 award nominations. Kerry’s been active in the film industry ever since.
She studied at Catholic Primary School prior to progressing to Charters School in 2010; Kerry transferred to Redroofs Theatre School in the following year, and in 2013 moved to Hurst Lodge School, matriculating in 2015, two years earlier than her peers.

Kerry played Street Child in the 2010 historical crime comedy “Burke and Hare”, directed by John Landis, and which starred Bill Bailey, Tom Wilkinson and Michael Smiley. It follows the lives of two grave robbers who supply an Edinburgh medical school with cadavers – the film was nominated for only a single award.
The year 2014 saw Kerry star in her own music video “Kerry Ingram: Shine”; it was directed by Jessica Hughes and follows Kerry as she’s dancing as a ballerina and is training for the big day.

Kerry’s debut TV series role was playing Shireen Baratheon in 10 episodes (2013-2015) of the action adventure “Game of Thrones”, created by D. B. Weiss and David Benioff, and which starred Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke. It follows several families fighting to control the lands of Westeros, the series aired from 2011 through 2019 and won 389 of more than 1,000 awards for which it was nominated; it’s widely rated to be one of the best series of all time.
The year 2015 saw Kerry play Alice Williamson in the episode “Entirely Beloved” of the biographical historical mini-series “Wolf Hall”, which starred Claire Foy, Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance, and follows the life of Thomas Cromwell, who was the secretary of Cardinal Wolsey prior to becoming a close advisor to King Henry VIII; the mini-series won 14 of the 68 awards for which it was nominated.
In 2016, Kerry played Hilde in the episode “Revenge” of the action documentary “Barbarians Rising”, and from 2014 through 2016, she portrayed Hannah Devlin in four episodes of the drama “Doctors”, which has been airing since 2000 and today stars Jan Pearson, Adrian Lewis Morgan and Matthew Chambers. It follows the lives of several people working at a hospital in Birmingham, and the series has won 17 of its 107 award nominations.
Kerry’s only other TV series role has been playing Becky in all 32 episodes of the action adventure comedy “Free Rein”, created by Anna McCleery and Vicki Lutas, and which starred Freddy Carter, Jaylen Barron and Manpreet Bambra. It follows young girl Zoe who’s befriended a mysterious horse in the English countryside, and the series won four of its 15 award nominations.
Kerry hasn’t been active in the film industry since 2019, but hasn’t officially retired from acting.
