Education and early life
Anna was raised in Aspen, Colorado by her adoptive parents, alongside her adoptive brother Zachary John; their parents divorced in 1982, and after their assets had been divided, John nearly choked Annie to death, while he then cut their marital bed with a chainsaw. Anna hasn’t spoken about her biological parents, and it remains unknown if she’s aware of who they are.
Anna studied at a local high school in Aspen, and was interested in a number of activities during her teenage years, as she took dancing and singing lessons, practiced acting with the school’s drama club, and also learned to play the guitar.

Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell, New Mexico USA, on 31 December 1943, meaning that his zodiac sign was Capricorn. He remains remembered for his music; John released more than 35 studio albums and around 300 songs, 200 of which were composed by himself, while 33 of his albums were certified either gold or platinum by the Recording Industry Association of American (RIAA). John mostly wrote songs about the joy of nature, his love for music, and relationship trials.
He was raised in Roswell by his father Captain Henry John ‘Dutch’ Deutschendorf Sr. who passed away aged 62 in 1982, and mother Erma Louise (nee Swope) who died in 2010, aged 82; Captain Henry served as a pilot in the US Air Force.
John and his younger brother Ron were raised around the USA, as the family often moved because of their father’s job; John wasn’t happy because of this, as found it hard to make new friends. He studied at several school, eventually matriculating from Arlington Heights High School in 1962.
John was 11 when his grandmother gifted him an acoustic guitar, and it took him seven years to learn to play it well enough to often perform in local clubs. John then went on to release a number of critically acclaimed albums in the remainder of the ‘70s, such as “Rocky Mountain High”, “Back Home Again” and “Windsong”.
John hosted the Grammys twice in the ‘80s, and because of his love for flying, was attracted to NASA; he was presented with a NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal in 1985. He toured around China in 1992, and two years later published his autobiography “Take Me Home”, in which he wrote about his use of various drugs, including cocaine and LSD, as well as about his marital infidelities. He married his second wife, Australian actress Cassandra Delaney in 1988, who gave birth to their daughter Jesse Belle, but they divorced in 1993, following a two-year separation.
John continued performing until 12 October 1997, when he crashed while piloting his light homebuilt plane Rutan Long-EZ. He had over 2,700 hours of flying experience and was considered a skilled pilot, however, he wasn’t legally permitted to fly at that time because he had been arrested for drunk driving on multiple occasions; it was later revealed that no traces of alcohol or drugs were found in his body; the suspicion was that he suicided.
