Allison Glenn Scagliotti was born on 21 September 1990, in Monterey, California, USA. Of Italian ancestry, her great-grandparents immigrated to the US from Italy through Ellis Island.

She hasn’t revealed her parents’ names and whether she has siblings or not, but her cousins are Kevin Pfeiffer, the lead singer of the band Five Minutes to Freedom, and the National Wakeboard Champion, Alex Scagliotti. At 12 years old, she made her debut with Chevy Chase in the television movie “America’s Most Terrible Things”. In 2003 she was Rose Wingfield in the television movie “Once Around the Park”, while in 2004, she appeared in two episodes of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated comedy series “Grounded for Life”, starring Donal Logue, Megyn Price and Kevin Corrigan. Moreover, she appeared in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated television drama movie “Back When We Were Grownups”, based on Anne Tyler’s novel about a single mother, Rebecca, and the adventures she has with her children and grandchildren, directed by Ron Underwood, and starring Blythe Danner, Faye Dunaway and Peter Fonda.
