Gradually, Renee was becoming more popular, and in May 2019, she was announced as the new Regina George in the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical “Mean Girls”, which premiered on 7 June 2019 and had a limited run until 26 June. After the initial success, Renee was named a star in the making, and the play got its permanent run, starting 10 September 2019 and running until 12 March 2020, when it was announced that it would be closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and Broadway shut down in accordance with the physical distance requirements.

To speak of her on-screen success, Renee has only one role – In October 2020, she was named as Leighton Murray, one of the four main girls in the HBO Max TV comedy series “The Sex Lives of College Girls”. The series follows four 18-year-old ‘freshwomen’ roommates at Essex College in Vermont, their misadventures, fights, sexual activities and other adventures while living together. The series was created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, and has earned several award nominations, including a GLAAD Media nomination for Outstanding New TV series.

With the second season scheduled to premiere, Renee will make her return to the show and continue her coming-out story.

Additional to acting, Renee is a professional musician. She released her debut music video in June 2022, entitled “Tattoos“, which already has around 400,000 views on her official YouTube channel.
