Who is Jesse Posey?
American actor and screenwriter Jesse Posey was born under the zodiac sign Scorpio on 3 November 1994, in Santa Clarita, California USA. He has 21 acting credits and is perhaps known best for playing Raymond Delgado in the 2023 action fantasy “Teen Wolf: The Movie”, directed by Russell Mulcahy, and which starred Tyler Posey, Holland Roden and Crystal Reed. It follows Werewolf Scott McCall as he’s gathering friends to stand against an army of wolves, and the film was nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Kick-Ass Cast.
Jesse’s also known for being the younger brother of Tyler Posey, a famous American actor who’s appeared in 50 movies and TV series, and is probably known best for starring as Scott McCall in all 100 episodes of the action fantasy series “Teen Wolf” from 2011 through 2017.
Early life and education
Jesse was raised in Santa Clarita alongside his brothers Tyler and Derek, by their father John Sanford Posey who’s an American actor, and mother Cyndi Terese Garcia who prefers to stay away from media, and whose profession thus remains undisclosed.
Jesse and his family moved to Los Angeles, California not long after Jesse completed his elementary education in 2008, and he went on to study at HART High School, where he was mostly into sports, and was a member of the school’s baseball team.
Jesse matriculated in 2012 and then enrolled at Hancock College, prior to transferring to the College of the Canyons, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2016.
Roles in movies
Jesse’s debut film role was playing Douche Bag in the 2015 short comedy “Matched”, and the year 2017 saw him play Omari in the short comedy “The D”.
In 2018, he reprised his role as Omari in the short comedy “The C-quel”, starring alongside Shaun J. Guzman; the film was written and directed by Natalie Rodriguez, and follows two friends Calvin and Omari a day after partying hard. A couple of Jesse’s following roles were in the 2018 short thriller “Patients”, the 2020 short adventure comedy “Five North’s This Mess”, and the 2021 short drama “WYWH”.
The year 2022 saw him play Victim in the music video “Oni: Heart to Stone”, as well as star as Carson in the short drama “Eyes on Me”, written and directed by Clarence Williams IV, and which also starred Ratoya Banks. The movie follows the life of an inter-racial couple, and it won seven of its 11 award nominations.
Jesse’s only other film role has been playing Evan Burkhart in the 2023 romantic musical fantasy “Intermedium”, directed by Erik Bloomquist, and which starred Michael Rady and Amy Hargreaves. It follows a teenage girl as she’s trying to convince a ghost to leave her home, and the film won a Mystic Film Festival Award for Best Actress Narrative Feature (Emily Keefe).
Jesse’s currently shooting for the upcoming movies “Men Who Live in Cars” and “Game of Power”.
Roles in TV series
Jesse’s debut TV series role was playing Young Fred Overmyer in the 2017 episode “Dreamland” of the crime science fiction “Stitchers”, created by Jeff Schechter, and which starred Kyle Harris and Emma Ishta. It follows a woman who’s been hired by a secret government agency to use the memories of the deceased to catch their killers, the series aired from 2015 through 2017, and was nominated for four awards.
In 2020, Jesse played Danny the Cashier in the episode “MotherF*cker” of the mini-series “Connected”, and in 2020 and 2021, he played Chris Perez in the biographical musical “Selena: The Series”, created by Moises Zamora, and which starred Christian Serratos, Gabriel Chavarria and Ricardo Chavira. It follows the life and death of famous Tejano singer Selena, and the series won one of its 14 award nominations.
Jesse’s appeared in only two other TV series, playing Navy Lieutenant Emmanuel Vela in the 2022 episode “All Hands” of the crime action “NCIS” and Firefighter James in the 2023 episode “Even Better Than the Real Thing” of the romantic action “Station 19”.

Jesse wrote the 2020 short movie “Five North’s This Mess”.
He voiced Nathan Prescott in the 2017 video game “Life Is Strange: Before the Storm” and its 2021 sequel “Life Is Strange: True Colors”.

Jesse dislikes speaking about his love life in public, as he respects his and his girlfriend’s privacy; it’s still widely known that he’s in long-term relationship with American non-celebrity Cheyenne Steward.
The two met while they were both attending college, meaning that they’ve been together for around ten years now; Jesse often features Cheyenne in his Instagram pictures, while she’s featured him in a couple of her own. Some of Jesse’s fans have claimed that the two have recently become engaged, but Jesse hasn’t addressed this, nor has any evidence been provided to support the rumors.
