Lymari Nadal is a Puerto Rican actress, scriptwriter and producer, who has appeared in the TV mini-series “Battlestar Galactica” (2003), and the film “American Gangster” (2007), among several other projects.

Lymari Nadal Torres was born on 11 February 1978 under the Aquarius zodiac sign, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The daughter of Daniel Nadal and Anaida Torres, Lymari went to Academia Santa Maria for her high school education, then graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, before then obtaining a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus (UPRM), at just 22 years old.

Lymari started her on-screen career in 2002, with the role of Linda in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated TV drama series “American Family”, with Kurt Caceres, Edward James Olmos and Patricia Velasquez as the main stars.
Immediately the following year, Lymari won the role of Giana in the TV mini-series “Battlestar Galactica”, the role she reprised in the action-adventure drama film “Battlestar Galactica: The Plan” in 2009.

Edward James Olmos was born on 24 February 1947 in East Los Angeles, California, USA. He is the son of Pedro Olmos and his wife, Eleanor of Mexican ancestry; his parents divorced when he was just seven years old, and he was raised primarily by his great-grandparents.
After matriculating from Montebello High School, he attended classes at East Los Angeles College, during which time Edward was the lead singer of the band Pacific Ocean – their only record, Purgatory, failed to make an impact on the music scene.
Edward’s acting career started in the mid- ’70s, with a string of minor roles in such TV series as “Cannon”, “Bronk”, “Kojak”, and others.
