Srbislava ‘Sibi’ Blažić was born in Chicago, Illinois USA, on 14 April 1970 – her zodiac sign is Aries, she holds American nationality, and is of Serbian descent. Early life and education
She was raised as an only child in Chicago by her parents Nadezhda Topalski and Slobodan Blažić, who moved to Chicago from Serbia not long before Sibi was born. She’s keeping her parents away from the media’s attention, while it’s said that her father’s running a local restaurant, and that her mother’s working there.

She was physically highly active while attending a local high school, as she played soccer for the school’s team, and also practiced volleyball. Sibi was a member of her school’s drama club, and appeared in various plays performed at the school, as well as several performed at a local theatre.
Upon matriculating in 1988, she enrolled at the University of Southern California, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1992; she spent the following five years working as a model.
Career
In 1997, Sibi worked as an assistant to the film producer Jordan Kerner, during the shooting of the hit action adventure comedy movie “George of the Jungle”.
It was directed by Sam Weisman, starred Brendan Fraser, Leslie Mann and Thomas Haden Church, and follows a man who was raised in the jungle, and has now fallen in love with an American woman; the film won one of the four awards for which it was nominated. In the same year, Sibi was Jordan’s assistant again, this time during the shooting of the crime thriller drama “Red Corner”.
In 1999, she was Winona Ryder’s assistant for the critically acclaimed biographical movie “Girl, Interrupted”, written and directed by James Mangold, and which starred Winona, Angelina Jolie and Clea DuVall. Based on the autobiography by Susanna Kaysen, it follows her 18 months long stay in a mental hospital; the movie won 10 awards, including an Oscar, while it was nominated for 11 other awards.
Sibi also worked as Winona’s assistant during the shooting of the 2000 romantic drama movie “Autumn in New York”, and the 2000 horror thriller film “Lost Souls”.
She has received special thanks for three movies: the 2004 thriller drama “The Machinist”, the 2018 biographical comedy drama “Vice”, and the 2019 biographical action drama “Ford v Ferrari”, all of which starred her husband.
Sibi also performed stunts in the 2012 action movie “The Dark Knight Rises”, and the 2019 film “Ford v Ferrari”.
Love life and marriage with Christian Bale
Sibi and Christian Bale met in the second half of the ‘90s; they haven’t shared the circumstances under which they met, but it’s widely believed that it was at a party organized for those involved in the film industry.
The two exchanged vows on 29 January 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a small ceremony attended by only a couple of their friends and family members.
On 27 March 2005, Sibi gave birth to their daughter Emmaline Bale, and in August 2014 to their son Joseph.
Sibi hasn’t spoken of any other men whom she has perhaps been with, while it’s widely known that Christian had dated several women prior to meeting Sibi.
