Who is Milica Krstić?

Milica born in Serbia on 29th December 1991, is known for being the wife of Boban Marjanovic, the Serbian National Basketball Association (NBA) star, and one of the world’s tallest sportsmen at 7ft 3in (2.20m) tall. Despite being a well-known basketball wife, Milica has yet to reveal details such as her weight or hometown, although we do know that she is 5ft 3in (1.60m) tall.

Personal Life

Milica is a lover of travel and high fashion, as demonstrated by her show-stopping Instagram feed which regularly features the stunning brunette clad in head-to-toe designer outfits, and enjoying herself in a myriad of exotic locations.

However, haute couture and private jets aren’t the only sneak peeks Milica allows followers of her private life; Boban and their two young sons, Vuk and Pera, also make frequent appearances on her social media, be it on family vacations or celebrating intimate birthday parties. Reading and tennis are two of Milica’s known hobbies, as the glamorous celebrity spouse can often be seen on the courts or curled up with a good book, such as Freddy Mercury’s biography. A great believer in a healthy lifestyle, the exotic beauty is also a regular at her local gym, and shares workout videos with her online followers from time to time.

Milica’s life was changed forever after meeting her future husband at a birthday party in 2008. Following a steady six-year relationship, Boban popped the question and the pair eventually tied the knot in a lavish 2014 ceremony on the beaches of Mexico, two years after the birth of their first son. In 2015, the lovebirds completed the family with the birth of their second son. Although Boban is no fan of the press, in June 2021 the gentle giant gave fans an interesting insight into his relationship with Milica. Speaking of the close bond with his former Philadelphia 76ers teammate Tobias Harris, Boban quipped: “We’re different, but we’re the same, you know? If you ask me why, this is the same as the relationship with my wife…

We have something in common where, together, we make one great person”. Boban is a devoted husband who loves to flaunt his beautiful spouse in real life and on social media, and family is definitely important to the basketball player, as shown by a sweet message he dedicated to his deceased grandmother on Instagram with quotes such as: “Bina you are my inspiration as you’ve taught me what it means to have a purpose in this world…and understand love, friendship, and to how to leave a POSITIVE impact on other lives”.

It’s possible that the secret to Boban and Milica’s successful marriage is the strong family values shared by both, as the couple have been together for well over a decade with no signs of issues or infidelity.

Professional Life

It’s common for A-list wives to start a business or star in reality shows, but this isn’t the case for Milica, who has no known revenue streams, and dedicates all her time to her family unit and ensuring her sons enjoy a balanced lifestyle, while their father travels for work. In fact, countless online boutiques and businesses have offered the star lucrative deals in the past, but she prefers to focus on her home and loved ones.

As for Boban, he began playing basketball professionally in his home country at the young age of 14, after joining Hemofarm, and until the 2005-2006 season, he played in the club’s youth category. In January 2007, he was loaned for half a season to Swisslion Takovo, a Serbian League team – some of his teammates at the time included Stefan Markovic and Milan Macvan. 2010 brought with it new beginnings, as Boban signed a three-year contract with CSKA Moscow; sadly, he soon lost his place in the first team after the coach, Dusko Vujosevic, was fired. On 31st December of the same year he was loaned to another team until the end of the 2010-11 season.

Other national teams Boban signed contracts with over the years include Mega Vizura and Crvena Zvezda. The sportsman’s NBA debut came in 2015, signing a twelve-month, $1.2 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs. He became a restricted free agent after the 2015-16 season, meaning that his club reserved the right to match any offers from other teams. However, when the Detroit Pistons offered Boban the opportunity of a lifetime with a staggering $21 million, three-year contract, the Spurs declined to match the offer, marking a before and after in Boban’s career. In January 2018, Boban and other teammates were traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Willie Reed, Brice Johnson, and Blake Griffin.

The following year, Boban was again traded, to the Philadelphia 76ers, and averaged 8.2 points in 22 appearances. Thanks to his hard work, the 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the 2019 NBA Playoffs, but were eventually eliminated by the Toronto Raptors in the Conference Semi-finals.

Net Worth

Boban and Milica’s combined net worth is $20 million, largely thanks to the basketball player’s NBA contracts and sponsorships. While playing for the 76ers, his annual salary was reportedly as high as $9 million.

One of Boban’s latest endorsement deals, this time with Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish Crackers brand, was announced in early 2021 and came to fruition in April of the same year. Apparently, the beloved NBA star was selected for the job due to his large hands, and the brand chose to name their new jumbo-sized pack the ‘Boban Bag’. In a series of videos, Boban and his best friend Tobias reunited to bond over their snacking skills, and the TikTok campaign encouraged users to get creative and beat Boban’s record of holding 301 crackers in a single palm. Naturally, merchandise sales make up an important part of Boban’s net worth too, as the Serbian is a household name in the States, due to being one of the tallest players on NBA’s roster.
