Who is Mikayla Demaiter?
Mikayla was born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada, on 14 May 2000 – her zodiac sign is Taurus, and she holds Canadian nationality. Early life and education
Mikayla was raised in Woodbridge, Toronto, Ontario by her parents, about whom not a lot is known because she respects their privacy; it’s believed that her father was a high school basketball coach, and her mother a nurse. Because Mikayla hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, most of her fans believe her to be an only child.

Mikayla’s been working as a model since she was 19, but hasn’t shared many details in regards to the companies and brands which she’s modelled for, but it’s known that she’s an ambassador of SportX, and has launched her own website in collaboration with The Coy Co.

Love life and relationships
Mikayla’s quite open when it comes to talking about her love life with her fans – she was previously in a relationship with Dan Davies, and it’s widely known that she’s today in a long-term relationship with Canadian professional ice hockey player Kurtis Gabriel. The two revealed through their Instagram accounts in April 2020 that they were dating, which came not long after Kurtis had broken up with his former girlfriend Katrina.
Kurtis is today playing for the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League (AHL), while he’s actually signed to the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played his first NHL game with the Minnesota Wild on 10 November 2015, but has since spent most of his time playing in AHL.

Hobbies and other interests
Mikayla’s physically highly active, as it’s important for her modelling career to stay in shape. She has four to five training sessions at the gym every week, follows a strict diet and occasionally plays hockey with her friends.
Travelling is one of her main hobbies – she’s been to many Canadian cities and US states, mostly to watch her boyfriend play ice hockey; Mikayla’s dream travel destination is Barcelona, Spain.
Her favorite season is summer, as she enjoys sun tanning at the beach and swimming in the ocean.
