Terrence Duckett is an American celebrity, probably best known to the world as the ex-husband of the famous actress and singer Jasmine Guy.

Terrence Duckett was born in New York City, USA, of African-American ancestry – Terrence hasn’t shared the exact date of his birth, but it’s believed that he was born in the late ‘50s.

Jasmine Guy was born on 10 March 1962, in Boston, Massachusetts USA, the daughter of an African-American father and a Portuguese-American mother.

Although born in Boston, she spent her childhood in the historic upper-class Collier Heights neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, and went to Northside Performing Arts High School.

Jasmine moved to New York City when she was 17 years old, to study dance at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center.

She started her acting career with a non-speaking role as Fame Dancer in the TV series “Fame”, featuring in seven episodes of the popular series in 1982, then waited four years for her next role, as Gloria in the TB series “The Equalizer”.

The following year, Jasmine made her big breakthrough with the role of Whitley Gilbert in “The Cosby Show” spin-off entitled “A Different World” (1987-1993), starring in all but one episode of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated comedy series, which launched her to stardom.

Concurrently, Jasmine featured in several other successful projects, including Spike Lee’s musical-drama film “School Daze” (1988), in which she portrayed Dina, then as Dominique La Rue in Eddie Murphy’s film “Harlem Nights” (1989).

She continued her career in stunning fashion in the ‘90s, appearing in such films and TV series as “Klash” (1995), “Guinevere” (1999), and “Ladies Man” (1999), among many others.
