Stacy Robinson Net Worth Under Review

Before showcasing his speed, dexterity, and athleticism as a professional football player, Stacy attended Prairie View A&M University and North Dakota State University. There, he was part of the mens football teams, and after several successful years in college, he declared for the 1985 NFL Draft. He was chosen by the New York Giants in the second round of the draft, as the 46th overall pick.

He signed his rookie contract with the franchise, which marked the start of his professional contract and also his net worth. In his rookie season, Stacy played in only four games, without any major contribution to the team. However, this changed immediately in the second season, when he started 10 games and played in 12 games throughout the season; he caught 29 passes which was enough for 494 yards and two touchdowns as well. That year, the Giants progressed quite easily and dominated in the Super Bowl against the Denver Broncos, winning the game with a 39-20 result.

Stacy caught three passes, giving his team a total of 62 yards in the final. This turned out to be Stacy’s best season for the Giants, as he became rather prone to injuries after that, and until his retirement in 1990 played in only another 27 games. Regardless, he was a part of the Giants team that won the Super Bowl in 1990, though apparently he didn’t have much of an effect on the final result.

Stacy retired at the end of the season after the Super Bowl game, finishing his career with 48 receptions, 749 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. He stayed in the NFL however, becoming a part of the NFL Players Association, overseeing drug issues.

Regarding his personal life, Stacy Robinson was married to Nadine, with whom he has three sons. Unfortunately, Stacy lost his battle with myeloma in 2012, after three years of fighting. He even went through bone-marrow transplant, but he could only postpone his ill-fate for some time. Stacy passed away on the 8th May 2012 after suffering from multiple myeloma.
