Samantha Louise Taylor Wood was born on 4 March 1967, in London, England, and is a photographer and filmmaker, best known for directing the 2009 film “Nowhere Boy” which is based on the childhood experiences of the Beatles singer John Lennon, but all of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is today.

Sam was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2011 for her artistic efforts.

For her personal life, it is known that Taylor Wood married art dealer Jay Jopling in 1997 and they had two daughters, but separated in 2008. The following year, she began a relationship with actor Aaron Johnson after meeting on the set of “Nowhere Boy”, and they married three years later. They took the name Taylor-Johnson and have two children. Sam has been diagnosed with cancer twice – in 1997 with colon cancer, and three years later with breast cancer. According to her, yoga and transcendental meditation have helped her to recover.
