Who is Morgana Robinson?
British actress, comedienne, film writer and producer Morgana Robinson was born in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia, on 7 May 1982 under the zodiac sign of Taurus; she and her family moved to England when she was three. Morgana’s appeared in close to 50 movies and TV series, and is probably best known for playing Mrs Jenkins in the 2020 family adventure comedy movie “The Witches”, written and directed by Robert Zemeckis, and which starred Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer and Stanley Tucci. It follows a mother and her son who’ve gotten into a fight with a group of witches, and the movie was nominated for 10 awards.
Education and early life
Morgana’s parents raised her in Kent, England as their only child; she hasn’t revealed a lot about her mother and father, as she respects their privacy, but it’s known that her father was a womanizer, and that she has four paternal half-siblings, one of whom is popular Australian singer-songwriter Bree Joanna Alice Robinson, perhaps known better as Brody Dalle.
Morgana studied at Benenden School, an independent boarding school for girls, and it was there that she became interested in both comedy and acting. She appeared in many school plays, mostly portraying lead characters, and in 1998 appeared in her first theatre play.
Morgana matriculated in 2000, and although she hasn’t spoken of her further education, it’s believed that she graduated from college in 2004.

Morgana’s debut TV series appearance was in the 2007 episode “Lust in Translation” of the comedy “The Green Green Grass”, and the remainder of the 2000s saw her play Anna in the 2009 episode “It’s Training Men” of the comedy “My Family”, and Gilbert in both episodes of the 2009 comedy “The TNT Show”.
Morgana attracted a lot of attention in 2010, when she portrayed various characters in her own comedy “The Morgana Show”; she starred alongside Neil Maskell and Tom Davis, and the series follows the lives of a TV show host, an alcoholic actress, and a news reporter.
In 2012, Morgana played several characters in all six episodes of the comedy “Very Important People”, and could then have been seen guest starring in an episode of the comedy “Them from That Thing”, the comedy “Big School”, and the comedy “Drifters”.

Between 2016 and 2020, Morgana portrayed Pippa in the critically acclaimed comedy “The Windsors”, created by George Jeffrie and Bert Tyler-Moore, and which starred Celeste Dring, Louise Ford and Hugh Skinner. It follows the members of the British Royal Family, and the series won one of its three award nominations.
Morgana’s three most recent TV series roles have been in 2022, in the seven episodes of the comedy podcast “Curl Up & D. I.”, three episodes of the comedy game-show “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown” and five episodes of the comedy “Stuck”; she’s currently shooting for the upcoming comedy “Everyone Else Burns”.

Morgana’s debut film appearance was in the 2008 short comedy “Eight Steps to Enlightenment and a Nervous Breakdown”, and her following role came in 2012, when cast to play several characters in the comedy “Very Important People”.
She starred in the 2012 short drama “The Actress”, the 2014 short comedy “Channel M”, and in 2015, Morgana played London Town Tannoy in the fantasy comedy drama “Set the Thames on Fire”, and Minky in the comedy “Distinguished Ladies”.
The year 2019 saw her play Adele in the comedy “Island of Dreams”, directed by Matt Lipsey, and which starred Shola Adewusi, Tom Basden and Jamie Demetriou. It follows billionaire Sir Richard Branson who’s thrown a party on his island, and has offered to solve all of his rich friends’ problems.

Morgana’s yet to mention any men (or women) whom she’s maybe dated, but some of her fans believe that she might today be in a relationship with British actor and comedian Matt Berry, as she’s uploaded a picture onto her Instagram account, which features her spending time with a man who highly resembles Matt.
During his legal battle against his former wife Amber Heard, famous American actor Johnny Depp found comfort in watching Morgana’s impressions, and even stated that he would be happy to meet her after the trial was over; it remains unknown if Johnny and Morgana have indeed met.
As Morgana hasn’t addressed any rumors concerning her love life, she seems to be single as of October 2022, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Morgana didn’t even know that she had a half-sister until she met Brody Dalle in 2004, when she and her band The Distillers and Spinnerette were performing in London, England.

She opened up about her weight loss in the reality show “Taskmaster”, and revealed that she was advised to do so when she started making her way up in comedy.
