Who is Morgana Robinson?

British actress, comedienne, film writer and producer Morgana Robinson was born in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia, on 7 May 1982 under the zodiac sign of Taurus; she and her family moved to England when she was three. Morgana’s appeared in close to 50 movies and TV series, and is probably best known for playing Mrs Jenkins in the 2020 family adventure comedy movie “The Witches”, written and directed by Robert Zemeckis, and which starred Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer and Stanley Tucci. It follows a mother and her son who’ve gotten into a fight with a group of witches, and the movie was nominated for 10 awards.

Education and early life

Morgana’s parents raised her in Kent, England as their only child; she hasn’t revealed a lot about her mother and father, as she respects their privacy, but it’s known that her father was a womanizer, and that she has four paternal half-siblings, one of whom is popular Australian singer-songwriter Bree Joanna Alice Robinson, perhaps known better as Brody Dalle.

Morgana studied at Benenden School, an independent boarding school for girls, and it was there that she became interested in both comedy and acting. She appeared in many school plays, mostly portraying lead characters, and in 1998 appeared in her first theatre play.

As Morgana hasn’t addressed any rumors concerning her love life, she seems to be single as of October 2022, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Morgana didn’t even know that she had a half-sister until she met Brody Dalle in 2004, when she and her band The Distillers and Spinnerette were performing in London, England.

She opened up about her weight loss in the reality show “Taskmaster”, and revealed that she was advised to do so when she started making her way up in comedy.
