In 1997, she joined CBS and became the host of the “Up To The Minute” news program. However, three years later she left CBS and joined the MSNBC, where she worked for a year, before returning again to the CBS, this time to become a correspondent, and her most noted assignment report was the”9/11” 2001 terrorist attack.

Nevertheless, Mika was again fired by the CBS, in 2006, and in 2007 she re-joined MSNBC. Since then she has been contributing to shows such as “NBC Nightly News”, “Weekend Today”, and many others. However, her primary job is co-hosting the talk show “Morning Joe” alongside Joe Scarborough and Willie Geist.
