Marina Squerciati is an American actress probably known best for playing Officer Kim Burgess in the NBC TV series “Chicago P.D.,” which is a spin-off from the show “Chicago Fire.”

Before she began her acting career officially, Squerciati appeared in the play “Just in Time: The Judy Holiday Story” in 2005, and she won an Agnes Moorehead Award for her praised performance. In 2006, she was cast in the Broadway play “To Be or Not to Be” by Casey Nicholaw, and later in the plays “Beauty of the Father” and “Manipulation.” In the same year, she joined The Essentials Canadian a cappella group, and was cast in the play “Perfect Harmony. “
