Shane Culkin is an American-born actor, who portrayed Wally in the hit TV series “Great Performances”, but is perhaps better known as the oldest brother of the former popular child actor, Macaulay Culkin, who played Kevin McCallister in the film franchise “Home Alone.”

Shane Arliss Culkin was born in New York City, USA, in 1976, which makes him 46 years old as of 2022 – he hasn’t revealed the exact date of his birth. He was brought up in a Roman Catholic household together with his seven siblings, three sisters: Dakota Culkin, Jennifer Adamson, and Quinn Culkin, and four brothers: Rory, Macaulay, Kieran and Christian Culkin. His father, Kit Culkin, was a former manager and a film and stage actor, noted for appearing in several series such as “Helmet” and “West Side Story” in the early ‘60s, and his wife, Patricia Brentrup, a former telephone operator. In addition to the “Home Alone” franchise, Macaulay has appeared in several other projects including “The Midnight Hour” in 1985, “Rocket Gibraltar” in 1988, and “Uncle Buck” in the year that followed. He also played minor roles in the films “Richie Rich,” “Getting Even with Dad” and “The Pagemaster” all in the ‘90s. in addition, he has appeared in many plays, most notable being “Madame Melville” which was played in London’s West End.
