Who is Ian Ousley?
American actor, model, social media star and TV personality Ian Ousley, was born in College Station, Texas USA on 28 March 2002, so Aries is his zodiac sign. He’s appeared in only five TV series but no movies yet, and has attracted attention only recently, when cast to portray Sokka in the upcoming action adventure comedy series “Avatar: The Last Airbender”, created by Albert Kim, and which will star Daniel Dae Kim, Tamlyn Tomita and Ken Leung. Education and early life
Ian was raised alongside his older sister Annalise Ousley in College Station, by their mother Suzanne Wyatt Ousley who’s an entrepreneur, and father whose name hasn’t been disclosed, as he prefers to stay away from media; Ian’s sister’s today an entertainer and artist.
Ian was seven when he began practicing Taekwondo, and he’s been taking lessons to this day; he ranked amongst the top ten Taekwondo artists in the world in his age division in 2016. He studied at a local high school in College Station and was into a number of activities during his time there, as he played football and soccer, ran track, and acted with its drama club.
Ian launched his acting career while still at high school, playing Brayden in the 2019 episode “Mr. Greer” of the drama series “Sorry for Your Loss”, created by Kit Steinkellner, and which starred Elizabeth Olsen, Kelly Marie Tran and Jovan Adepo. It follows the life of Leigh Shaw, whose husband’s died suddenly; the series aired in 2018 and 2019, and was nominated for three awards.
Ian matriculated in 2020, and then chose to focus on acting, rather than to go after a college degree.
Career as an actor
Ian played Jeremy in the 2020 episode “A House for Sale and Serious Woman Stuff” of the critically acclaimed comedy “Young Sheldon”, which Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro created, and which stars Lance Barber, Zoe Perry and Iain Armitage. It follows the life of child genius Sheldon Cooper, who can be seen as an adult in the hit comedy series “The Big Bang Theory”; “Young Sheldon” has been airing since 2017, and has won three of its 27 award nominations.

In 2019 and 2020, Ian played Robby Corman in three episodes of the mystery thriller “13 Reasons Why”, which starred Christian Navarro, Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette, and was created by Brian Yorkey. It follows Clay Jensen who’s trying to learn more about his crush’s suicide, the series aired from 2017 through 2020, and won six of its 22 award nominations.
In 2021, Ian played Bodhi in the episodes “TCKS” and “The Marvyn Korn Effect” of the sports comedy “Big Shot”, created by Brad Garrett, David E. Kelley and Dean Lorey, and which starred John Stamos, Jessalyn Gilsig and Sophia Mitri Schloss. It follows a college basketball coach who’s been fired, and is now forced to coach at an elite all-girls high school; the series was nominated for a Hollywood Critics Association Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Streaming Series (Yvette Nicole Brown).
Ian’s only other role has been playing Zeke Breem in four episodes of the 2021 comedy “Physical”, created by Annie Weisman, and which starred Rose Byrne, Rory Scovel and Dierdre Friel. It follows a woman who’s being abused at home by her husband, while she’s now found comfort in aerobics; the series won two of its six award nominations.

Ian’s steadily building himself a fanbase on Instagram, as he’s today followed by close to 50,000 people on the social media network, but has uploaded only five pictures, with most of these featuring him during his everyday life.

He’s tweeted close to 2,000 times since the launch of his Twitter account in August 2013, and most of these are related to American sports, as Ian’s a huge fan of National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB); close to 300 people are following him on this social media network.
