Forrie J. Smith is an American actor, stuntman and producer, probably best known to the world as Lloyd Pierce in the TV series “Yellowstone” (2018-2023), in addition to several other notable appearances he’s had so far in his career.

The same year, he had a minor role in the horror thriller-comedy film “The Vagrant”, starring Bill Paxton, Michael Ironside and Marshall Bell, directed by Chris Walas.
Next, in 1993 he appeared in the biopic “Tombstone”, about a lawman who wants to retire and live in Tombstone, Arizona, however, his wishes are disrupted by the outlaws he was dealing with his entire career, starring Sam Elliott, Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer, written by Kevin Jarre and directed by George P. Cosmatos.
Forrie continued to appear regularly in westerns throughout the ‘90s; in 1994 in “Gunsmoke: One Man’s Justice”, starring James Arness, Bruce Boxleitner, and Amy Stock, directed by Jerry Jameson, about a teenage boy who wants to avenge the murder of his mother, but his effort is brought to a halt by retired Marshal Dillon.

The 2000s
Forrie started the new millennium with the role of Deputy Landers in the western drama film “South of Heaven, West of Hell”, starring Billy Bob Thornton, Luke Askew and Dwight Yoakam.
Five years later, he appeared in the Academy Award-nominated adventure comedy-drama film “Transamerica”, with Felicity Huffman, Kevin Zegers and Fionnula Flanagan in the lead roles, about a transgender woman who learns that she has a son who is now a teenager, written and directed by Duncan Tucker.
In 2006 he appeared in the action horror-thriller film “Seven Mummies”, starring Matt Schulze, Cerina Vincent and Billy Wirth, about six convicts who escape prison, but face imminent death in the Arizona desert.
