Who is Joey Batey?

In the episode “Four Marks” of the fantasy adventure series “The Witcher” which follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, viewers get to know his bard and close friend Jaskier, the character portrayed by the young and talented actor, Joey Batey. One of the main questions related to him was – ‘did he actually sing in the series,’ and the answer is, yes he does. He sang “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”, as well the songs “Her Sweet Kiss” and “The Fishmonger’s Daughter”, among others shown in the episodes in which he acted.

Joey made his acting debut portraying Dixie in the 2013 movie “Murder on the Home Front”, followed by his role as Eager Chap in “The Riot Club” in 2014, and his next role came in 2016 when he was cast to play Colin Montcrawknox in “Bloody Cakes”. In the following year, he had an uncredited role in the movie “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool”, which is his most recent movie appearance to date.
