Who is Dan Sur?
Mexican rapper, YouTuber and social media personality Dan Sur, was born on 10 November 1997 (some sources state in 1998) in Mexico, so Scorpio’s his zodiac sign. He’s probably known best for his song “Bonk Bonk”, but also for his self-titled YouTube channel, which he launched on 8 August 2016, while it today numbers close to 350,000 subscribers and over 85 million views of all his videos combined; although he initially uploaded only his music videos, Dan nowadays uploads diverse content, with his videos showing him pranking his friends, telling jokes and taking on internet challenges.
He’s also known for his signature look, as he has gold chains implanted in his scalp.

Education and early life
Dan was raised in Mexico City by his father and mother, about whom he’s yet to speak in public because he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father’s a laborer and mother a housewife, but this remains unconfirmed. Dan hasn’t spoken about having siblings, but it’s believed that he was raised alongside his brother.
He studied at a local high school, and was 16 when he became passionate about rap music, and subsequently chose to pursue it as a career; Dan enjoyed playing sports during his teenage years, excelling at soccer, and he also occasionally acted with his school’s drama club.
He matriculated in 2016, and then focused on music rather than to enroll at college.
Dan’s career
Dan’s so far released 11 songs, with some of the most popular amongst these, besides “Bonk Bonk”, being “Se Siente Sola”, “Bonk Bonk Merengue” and “Vivimos En El Infierno”.
It’s believed that he’s also planning to launch a career in the film industry, as he’s already attended a couple of auditions, but is yet to be given a chance to act.

Dan seems to be mostly popular on YouTube for his music videos, however, he’s recently uploaded a number of videos in which he’s talking about one of the most popular YouTubers, Mr. Beast; Dan seems to hate the famous YouTuber, and has also disclosed his reasons for this. His #1 video “Por esta razon odio a Mr beast !! Dan sur” has been watched over 700,000 times since 10 November 2022, and features him giving his fans the reasons behind his hate for Mr. Beast; all of his videos are in Spanish.
His second most popular video “Dan Sur – Se Siente Sola (Video Oficial)” has been watched close to 600,000 times since 14 June 2021, and is his original song.
Dan’s #3 most viewed video – “No se – Dan Sur ft @DavidPrietoChannel (Video Oficial)” – has been viewed over 470,000 times since 25 March 2022, and is a song which he recorded in collaboration with Mexican singer and YouTuber David Prieto.
Presence on social media networks
Dan’s popular on a number of social media networks, especially on TikTok as there are today more than 6.4 million people following him, while all his videos together have amassed more than 80 million likes; most of these feature him telling jokes and lip syncing, while others feature him spending time with his friends.
He’s also an Instagram star, having amassed more than 150,000 followers on the network, while he’s posted close to 50 pictures and videos, with the majority of these showing him during his everyday life, whether he’s gambling at a casino, freestyle rapping or showing off his wealth.

Dan launched his Twitter account in January 2017, but has since tweeted just 39 times and only 29 people are following him today; his account’s recently been suspended because he had violated the Twitter Media Policy, and Dan hasn’t revealed if he’s coming back to Twitter anytime soon.
Dan has a Facebook profile, as well, but it seems that he’s recently decided not to let his fans befriend him on this social media network, and to instead use it only to keep in touch with his friends and family members.
Love life and girlfriend
Dan’s yet to speak about his love life in public, and although some of his fans believe him to be gay, this has proven to be untrue as he’s been seen spending time at strip clubs quite often, and is said to be a womanizer.
It’s believed that Dan’s currently not pursuing love, but rather wants to focus on his career, however, there are still some people on the internet who claim that he’s today in a long-term relationship with a non-celebrity Mexican woman, as some have claimed to have seen them spending time together, but Dan hasn’t addressed these rumors.
He seems to be unattached as of March 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Dan loves to gamble, and some of his Instagram content features him gabling in Las Vegas, Nevada which is also one of his favorite US cities.
