A year later, he decided to try a solo career, and worked with other names that were signed with Motown Records. One of his first clients was Glasswurk, and after them he got to work with Boyz II Men who were developing their debut album. Austin helped develop TLC’s debut album and at the same time he created his own group called Highland Place Mobsters.
