Born on 1st August 1960, in Queens, New York City USA, Carlton Douglas Ridenhour is popular as Chuck D, a rapper and master in hip-hop music, and the founder of the renowned hip-hop group named ‘Public Enemy’, best recognised and respected for his catchy hip-hop music with a message.

Apart from being perfectionist in his career, Chuck D has also contributed to society on a variety of issues ranging from politics to civil rights, and is a panelist of ‘Trans Africa Forum’, an organization that works for Latin American, African and Caribbean issues.
