Chicha Amatayakul spent her early years in her hometown of Bangkok, where she was raised by her parents; however, their names and professions aren’t disclosed to the public, and it’s also unknown whether she has siblings or is an only child. Her name ‘Kitty’ was given to her by her parents after Hello Kitty, the fictional character created by Japanese designer Yuko Shimizu.

Prior to becoming a model and actress, Chicha Amatayakul pursued her career in the music industry launched in 2010, when she signed a contract with the record label Kamikaze as a member of the pop girl group Kiss Me Five, alongside Bam Pakakanya, Mild Krittiya, Gail Natcha, and Bow Maylada.
The girls released their debut self-titled single “Kiss Me Five” in 2011, but Chicha left the group later that year to pursue her other ambitions.

Chicha Amatayakul launched her professional acting career in 2013, when she made her debut TV appearance as Dujdao in the romantic action TV series “Chart Chaopraya”, which was followed by her portrayals of Cookie in the romantic comedy TV series “ATM 2: Koo Ver Error Er Rak” in the same year. In 2014, she played Golf in the romantic comedy TV series “Love Blood”, after which she landed minor roles in such TV series as “Yes Sir My Boss”, “Singh See Quare”, and “Love Songs Love Stories: Kit Teung Chun Mai Welah Tee Tur”, all released in 2015.

In 2017, Chicha Amatayakul took the lead roles of Muay in the horror TV series “Miti Sayong Chuea Pen… Mai Chuea Taai”, and Aitim in the romantic thriller TV series “Lhong Fai”, which follows the life of a girl who obsessively thrives to live in upper-class society in Bangkok. During the same year, she had the part of Monica in the horror mystery thriller film “Net I Die”, which was directed by Weeratham Preedee. She then gained international popularity when she joined the main cast of the mystery thriller anthology TV series “Girl From Nowhere”, in which she portrayed the lead role of mysterious girl Nanno until the series was ended after two seasons in 2021, the first season on the Thai digital channel GMM 25, while the second season was aired globally on Netflix.

Concurrently with working on “Girl From Nowhere”, Chicha Amatayakul worked on other projects, and landed the role of Lieutenant Toon in the action-horror film “Necromancer 2020” in 2019.
During the same year, she received a KAZZ Awards nomination for Female Rising Star of the Year. It was followed by her portrayal of Kat in the 2020 comedy film “Scholar”, in which she shared the screen with Sahajak Boonthanakit.
