Who is Laura Quinn Hawk

Laura was born in Columbus, Ohio USA in 1985 – she’s of Irish ancestry and holds American nationality. She’s an interior designer, but probably known best for being the wife of the American sports analyst and former National Football League (NFL) player, A. J. Hawk. She is also the older sister of the former NFL quarterback, Brady Quinn.

Early life and education

Laura was born to Tyrone and Robin Quinn, and has two younger siblings, Brady and Kelly Katherine, who is married to the National Hockey League (NHL) defenseman, Jack Johnson. Coming from an Irish ethnic background, she grew up a devoted Roman Catholic.

Laura attended Dublin Coffman High School in nearby Dublin, Ohio, matriculating in 2003.

She then enrolled at Ohio State University, majoring in Art; during her time there, she met her future husband, A. J. Hawk.

Marriage with A. J. Hawk

Laura and A. J. started dating during their time in college; rumor has it that they only knew each other for a few months before deciding to exchange vows in a civil ceremony in July 2006. However, their first wedding was apparently very low-key and they didn’t have a proper celebration, so they held another ceremony in Dublin on 17 March 2007.

In 2006, Laura made headlines when she attended the college football game between Notre Dame and Ohio State in a split jersey, showing colors of both teams. While her brother played for Notre Dame, her then-boyfriend represented Ohio State, and Laura apparently didn’t want to pick a side.

The game ended in a 34-20 victory for Ohio State, but is mainly remembered for Laura’s unconventional jersey, which caused a stir among both teams’ supporters.

In December 2010, Laura and A. J. welcomed their first child, Lennon Noel Hawk, and two years later in January 2013, Laura gave birth to their second son Hendrix Knight Hawk. They have since welcomed two more kids, a son and a daughter, but haven’t revealed their birthdates and names to the public. In an interview she gave for “The Green Bay Press Gazette”, Laura revealed that she and A. J. are open to having more children, and are considering adoption as another of their options.

In 2011, the couple purchased a luxurious six-bedroom house in Dublin, Ohio, estimated value more than $200,000, which is where they still reside with their four children. There has never been even a hint of disord in the family, let alone any rumor of divorce.

Career and charity work

Although most people recognize her for being the wife of A. J. Hawk, Laura is quite successful in her own right. She has more than 15 years of experience working as an interior designer, and has founded her own company, LHC Interiors, which provides consulting and design services.

Laura also takes great interest in fashion, which shouldn’t be surprising, as she comes from a family of fashionistas.

Her brother Brady is widely considered to be one of the best dressed US sportsmen, and according to Laura ‘he owns more clothes than an average woman’. She often uses her sense of style to help her husband prepare for big events, and practically acts as his personal stylist.

Laura has also been involved with several charity organizations. When she moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin in 2006, she spent more than a year volunteering as a baby cuddler at a local hospital. Her job was to take care of the newborns, play with them, and help them fall asleep. The experience inspired her to keep working with charity organizations and to have children of her own.
